I can’t say enough good things about this campsite. Privacy, space, views, cleanliness, a responsive and kind host…it really checks all the boxes. Our family can’t wait to book this spot again. The only downside might be the noise from the road, we are easy going and it didn’t phase us but if you’re someone who can’t handle a little road noise then this would probably bug you, to us it was well worth the incredible benefits the site provided. 10 out of 10 for sure!

Lynne’s land is such a peaceful and welcoming place to camp. The property is well cared for. The views are gorgeous, and it’s quiet enough . Lynne was responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
If you’re looking for a spot that’s both serene and inviting, this is a wonderful choice. You can expect a safe, well-kept, and very relaxing experience here.

Lynne was a fantastic host! On night one we had a mishap with our air mattress and she met us at her shop to fill it up and even loaded us up with free fire wood! She is an amazing lady!as for the campsite it self it was gorgeous and very secluded. You can hear the traffic but I was able to tune it out. I’d say the only downside was all the rocks my pups had a hard time walking on them to get to the water being they are all over 10 it was rough, I just wish there was more dirt, but hey if that’s the only downside I’ll take it. This place was near perfect. The porta potty was spotless when we got there and the campsite was very well kept! The sunset was phenomenal and we even had a few thunderstorms in the distance and that was a great sight! And again Lynne was the best host I’ve ever had! 10 out of 10 would go again.

Lynne's spot on Lake Almanor was fantastic. We appreciated so much having our own campsite rather than being in a large, noisy campground with no privacy. On one side of the site is a house (with its own dock), but there are no windows overlooking the site. The other side of the site is just woods, and the beach on that side stretches along quite a ways with no houses or docks. Beach and in the water consists of medium size rocks - bring water shoes. The set up at the site was amazing: fire pit, very clean porta-potty (ladies, send your husbands out there even if you have a trailer!), paddle boards, canoe, paddle boat, kayak, picnic table, lounge chairs, float island, even a dog pen.). If you are bringing your own large boat or renting one, please note that starting around 2:00 the wind comes up and the lake gets very choppy until well into the evening (at least when we were there in mid-August). You will not want to tie your boat to the dock in those conditions (you can briefly tie-up to unload though). Use the mooring bouys off of the dock, and bring your own float to get out there and back if you are not comfortable with the boats at the site. There is a long hook at the site, very much needed to hook the buoy in rough chop. We unfortunately did not see the hook at first, and my husband spent a merry time hanging over the boat trying to catch the buoy in very rough chop.

Super spot. Kayak, paddle board and paddle boat were there. Dock was amazing. Hardest part was getting in and out of the driveway on the busy road, but we got over it because everything else was amazing!

This campsite is a slice of heaven. Best lake view/accessibility, lots of toys to use while here, and a nice dock to hook your boat to. Great beach, incredible sunsets, and just an amazing, peaceful place. Wish we had found this years ago when we were stuck at busy, noisy, campgrounds. We will definitely return!

My family and I loved the campsite with its amazing views and easy access to the lake. Site was clean and ready upon our arrival. The water toys were fun and easy to use. Portable was clean and accommodating.

Turner beach camping was awesome with our kids and grandkids. Beautiful setting with plenty of water toys and dock for the kids to jump from. At night we had a campfire and watched the sunset. Thank you to our hosts for this little slice of heaven. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay.

Such a beautiful spot to camp!!! Would definitely go back. :) when we were there the weather was perfect, the water temperature was great and there were not many bugs. Being right on the water is such a treat. There is some road and train noise, but the beauty and the proximity to the water make dealing with that totally worth it. Shore and water are rocky so I recommend packing water shoes especially for kids!

Awesome site on the water. Spacious, gorgeous view. Only downside it is directly next to the road and is very noisy at night when cars go by/a train that comes through. Would still stay again!

A big lake and a big site to enjoy with your best friends! Thanks for a great stay. 💯‼️The road noise can be a bit loud but the train is right there too which I think is cool especially at night. The dogs had an awesome time romposing off leash and we had a great fire in the morning with coffee.🇺🇸

One of the best RV spots we’ve camped at. Nice wide, wooded lot between the road and the lake. Site has a nice dock, boat launch, porta-potty, fire ring and flat parking. Beautiful, shady site made for an excellent RVing experience.

I wish I could find more awesome places like Turner Beach on Hipcamp. We stayed here with our two Goldendoodles for three nights. We love to go camping and prefer it to be private, secluded, on a body of water, where our dogs can explore and roam off leash. Completely an unreasonable request at a campground. This place has all of that! We have a 26 ft trailer and there was so much room around us at this property. We had our own beach, our own dock, our dogs could run around and jump off the dock, swim around for hours and we were not bothering anybody! This place is perfect if you like your privacy. The nightly sunsets are breathtaking and the mornings are so peaceful. Lynne was fantastic and so responsive. There are Lounge chairs, picnic table, a great fire pit, a very clean Porta-Potty, a lot of Lake toys and oh did I mention complete privacy?! Yes, this property sits off of the road but who cares! It was safe for our dogs due to the fenced off property. When we sat on the dock or down by the lake, we never even noticed the road was there. Sadly, it looks like this place books up quick and there's nothing like it that I have found so far on this platform. This is definitely our go-to place when we come to Lake Almanor.

This is an AMAZING spot. While as others noted there’s some road and train noise it’s intermittent and is a trade off for the opportunity to stay at this private lakeshore site. The site was clean and well organized. Would absolutely put this on our regular camping rotation.

So relaxing that our 2 night stay became three! As others have mentioned road noise -but it disappears at night…..and a train that my partner didn’t even notice😁 Our pups loved the fenced property. Sunsets & views were beautiful. The lawn chairs, firepit and water toys were great & a nice touch. Wish we’d had a boat to take full use of the dock. And I have to mention the cleanest porta-potty ever-lol.

We had a wonderful holiday week at Turner’s Beach. Having the place to ourselves was the absolute best! We were able to have our dogs off leash The site was well appointed, the portable potty was a much appreciated and nice touch considering it is a dry camping site. Would recommend and can’t wait to go back!
