Nopalito Farm has been in operation since late 2014, but the property itself has been a working farm for over 50 years. Lemons and avocados were the primary crops from the 70’s through the 00’s, and are still prominent throughout our 15 acres. Had a great time. Tent was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we would have ever needed. We made pizza, tea, and breakfast. The bathrooms were clean. My only complaint would be that the showers were cold. We tried morning and night and there was no hot water. Would come back again. My daughter loved pointing out all of the avocados on the property.

Very happy with the stay. Stayed for one night on a Sunday. Enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi (not heated) in the day time very refreshing on a hot day. Enjoyed our private space, tent with King bed, fire pit, and of course the private hot mineral spring pool. Ron is very communicative. Everything simple, no stress. Just what the doctor ordered, thank you!

Weekend Trip to Campo Nopalito

My wife and I along with our two dogs had a wonderful time at the Nopalito farm. The entire setting from the communal outdoor kitchen to the shower and outdoor seating areas were great. Jacob and his parents worked diligently to make all guests stay most comfortable. We definitely plan to come back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing, Private, and Romantic Retreat What an unforgettable stay! The setting felt truly wild and alive — we even heard coyotes howling in the night. 🐾It was peaceful, private, and incredibly romantic. The food was beyond expectations — the ramen was one of the best bowls I’ve ever had, full of flavor and warmth. The dates were fresh and delicious, and you can truly feel the minerals in the water — my skin felt amazing afterward. The tent was cozy and comfortable, with soft bedding and surprisingly great air conditioning. After a day in the sun, relaxing in the shade and ending the night by the fire felt like pure magic. I can’t wait to come back.

Ron was a great host, he was always available for any questions and was overall extremely helpful! He made sure to situate me and my friends right next to each other so we can easily navigate between the 2 sites, there was a connecting path. The yurt was really nice and comfortable. The site we had was very large with a charcoal grill. The community kitchen had everything we needed. Be mindful if your using one of the stoves, you’ll need butane. They did have 2 hot plates as well. The mineral spring was big enough to fit the 4 of us comfortably. Just be careful getting in and out of the tub, it wasn’t a super sound walking path. Great trip, we will definitely be going back.

This place was delightful. Ron was very welcoming and the site we stayed at was its own little refuge from the world for one night. The site is well provided (tent with power), and the flowing water and surrounds of date palms give a sense of privacy and peace. I can see the attraction of staying here for several days and would love to come back and enjoy the settings many more times.

We ended up being the only ones on site the night we stayed but the yurt site was so secluded due to the date palms I don’t think we would have even noticed if anyone else was there. The palms blocked the wind and our site had two pools. One was warm and the other was hooked up to a heater to get the water even hotter. Our site was perfect. The yurt had AC and the bed was super comfy. We got to meet some of the farm cats - two were super sweet, but one was not impressed. We will need to return to try and win them over. :) You have to try the ramen. Its fantastic. This is my favorite kind of Hipcamp: I’d never thought I’d be sitting in a hot mineral spring tub surrounded by date palms staring up at a sky full of stars. 10/10

We stayed for one night in this peaceful place and we took full advantage of the relaxing bath in the mineral spring under the clear sky. The host is very kind, he responded promptly even though we arrived late at night. I recommend it if you are looking for nature and privacy.

What a beautiful property!! I got worried driving in but once we turned in and laid our eyes on the date and palm trees surrounding us we knew it was perfect. The tub takes a while to fill, do not wait until the last minute to start it like we did. Definitely don't pass up the ramen or dates, so delicious! I recommend packing extra towels to use as carpets. I really appreciated the AC in the yurt. Overall highly recommend for a relaxing escape.
