3 nights at Good Witch Ranch
The Seemore 1964 Dexter was the perfect hideaway for a solo mission to the high desert, far enough off the beaten path to avoid the T-Day JT crowds. Tristyn and family were INCREDIBLY friendly and warm, and the property couldn't be easier to get to. All the amenities you really want, without the ones you really don't need, and with just the right amount of quirky charm and personal touch.

Weekend Trip to Good Witch Ranch
I really enjoyed how beautiful the space was and how cute the 1950s trailer was!! Tristyn was so helpful getting us set up and very responsive! As someone else mentioned, things are a little dusty but it is a campsite. Also heads up, the bed was a little hard for me so if you need softer mattress- bring a pad or something! I might also just be getting old.
I also adored the witchy decor as a witch myself. It made me feel welcome and safe.
The land itself is gorgeous and I enjoyed all the little art pieces and nature on it. Also neighbors were super friendly and helpful too! Would recommend for folks who like camping!

It’s my second time staying here, will be returning. It’s spacious, the night sky is beautiful for stargazing. Close enough to enjoy the trails at Joshua tree.

Weekend Trip to The Engels Nest Fall Leaves!
The cabin is so cute and easy to find/access! It was less than a 5 minute drive from the lake and there were lots of trails nearby. The trails were a bit tricky to navigate with little signage so we didn't venture too far but the views were still great. I would recommend bringing essentials (shampoo, body wash, coffee) but the cabin had pots, pans, toaster, dishes, etc. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing slow paced weekend away!

This spot is EXACTLY as pictured. We loved how bright, welcoming and comfortable it is. The proximity to the east entrance of Joshua Tree State Park can’t be beat! And there’s art all around if you keep your eyes peeked (“Springs”, I’m ‘looking at you! And the end of the world …) Had trouble with the door lock but Jonathan was very responsive and fixed it immediately. For those needing to work, the wifi held up to my Zoom meetings. And anyone worried about the heat (it hit 114 during our stay) should know that the air conditioners and ceiling fans kick butt. Thank you!

2 nights at Bohio Retreat Glampsite
This Casita is adorable. It has everything you need. Especially air conditioning which feels wonderful in the summer heat. We came to see meteor showers and loved sitting outside at night and watching the skies. There is tons of privacy and the desert was so quiet. We even heard coyotes yipping at night.

Beautiful cabin with everything we needed! Loved exploring the creek and nearby waterfall. Hot tub was great too! Plenty of bedding and cooking supplies. Feels more like a well stocked air b&b than a camping or even glamping experience which was perfect for what we needed. Overall a peaceful and serene experience thank you <3

A great place to go if you want to get away without totally unplugging. Jami was very thoughtful in making sure that everything was provided. I came with 8 people, and there was enough room to comfortably fit everyone without too much running into each other. The beds were great, and extra blankets were provided just in case. There was also a washer and dryer, which I wasn't expecting. There's only one bathroom, so there was a little maneuvering with that. The Wi-Fi worked great, even with all of us connected. There is a heater but no AC, although the ceiling fans, along with opening the windows, really helped with the heat. Not to mention, it was cooler outside.
The only problem was the bugs, like mosquitoes, since we were here in the summer. There's a stream about a 2-minute walk from the cabin, and I'm pretty sure I could hear it even from inside. There's also a bigger waterfall that was about a 20-minute walk/hike. The area was absolutely beautiful—trees everywhere. You could see squirrels running around, birds in the morning, and at night it was so peaceful and quiet.

We had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful cabin, was very hard to leave!
Really did feel like home, so cozy and comfortable.
Just a few minutes from some very special spots, such as inspiration point where you can witness a truly spectacular sunset, also the very cool Black Dog Social Club, had a lovely time listening to live music there, sipping on a beer overlooking the lake… just perfect. Thank you to Jodi and family for opening up this unique and beautiful home, we’ll be back!
You should book to stay here, you won’t regret it.

Jonathan was a super host! Provided clear Check-in instructions and the process was a breeze. Home was located on a dirt road, but not far from the main highway. We had so much outdoor space to ourselves, our dog loved running around while we enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio with a scenic view! Location was great as it was only 10 minutes away from north entrance of Joshua Tree, close to popular trails such as Skull Rock and Heart Rock. Home itself had everything you could need. We even used the provided camping chairs to go stargazing. Overall had a wonderful experience and would stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Good Witch Ranch
I loved Witch Ranch! I booked late in the day and Tristyn was out of town. But, she graciously agreed to honor the stay and patiently walked me through how to let myself in, turn on the water, locate firewood, etc. My pup and I spend a truly beautiful evening stargazing on a cozy sofa by the fire pit. The trailers are really cool too. I will definitely visit again!

Weekend Trip to Good Witch Ranch
The star of the location is the outdoor seating area by the pot belly wood-burning stove. Loved it. GREAT sunrise & GREAT sunset views. The nearby dog rescue kennels were a bit loud, and the bathroom in the 1950 Airstream-like unit was unfortunately not particularly reasonable.
The hosts were fabulous. Their three dogs were attentive. The surrounding space was wonderful.

We loved the cabin! We stayed at her other property last year and decided to try this one and it did not disappoint. Spacious enough for our fam of four but still super cozy with lovely rustic detailing (and a great fireplace). We will be back.

4 nights at Bohio Retreat Glampsite
Bohio Retreat had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in 29Palms with close proximity to explore Joshua Tree National Park. They even had camping chairs, a cooler and extra blankets to borrow for camping one night in the park. The sunset views were incredible. Jonathan was a very kind and responsive host. Expect light water pressure as they do operate on a water tank located at the property. Overall a wonderful stay we won’t forget!
