Wonderful two bedroom cottage, just a 10 minute drive to downtown Mendocino, California’s most beautiful beaches and hikes just minutes away. Wonderful well appointed kitchen and two bedrooms and lovely living area with gas fireplace and smart TV make this the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the coast! EV charger just outside as well! Tashi and Michael’s property is so restful and glorious! We love helping them manage it❤️
The space
A wonderful, well appointed little two bedroom cabin just 10 minutes from Mendocino. The property is on a gorgeous open meadow, lined with redwood trees. We live just next-door so we are available at any time if needed. We like to get guest privacy unless we are needed. Please note that property owners live on the property of as well in a larger house, which is a good distance from the cottage. The owners Tashi and Michael are incredibly kind and lovely if you should meet them!

This cabin is located on one of Mendocino's most beautiful properties, ten minutes to the coastal town of Mendocino and on 12 acres of giant redwoods & open meadows. *Review note: our little cabin is along the original wagon trail in the area and the property is one of the original Homesteads here. In one of my review responses, I accidentally wrote “wagon train” but that was a typo. The cottage used to be an apple shed in the early 1900s but has been transformed into a cozy redwood forest cabin.

Weekend Trip to Cozy Creek in downtown Point Arena
Clayton's place was the perfect choice from which to enjoy both the town and environs of Point Arena. We felt immediately at home in the refurbished apartment in his storied, 115 year-old former boarding house. The building has clearly been restored with love and care which extends to Clayton's hosting of the space as well. Highly recommended!
