Most of our campsites are just yards away from a public swimming area, which is shared between our property and the Arkansas Natural Area. You should expect local traffic at the main swimming area

We have a private swimming area on our property which is just a short hike from the developed campsites (Please ask the camphost for directions).
There are miles of county maintained bumpy dirt roads leading to the site. Expect your vehicle to get dusty. There is a creek crossing that is required to reach the campsites. We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.

Electric sites are 30 amp, if using for tent camping you will need a 3-prong converter (we can rent one to you for $5 if you do not have your own). RV/Camper MAXIMUM length is 28 feet.
Tipi rental is a camping experience only; it does not have electricity, a/c or heat. There are solar lights inside. We do have a Queen Sized outdoor bed and bedding available to add to rental for $10/night.
Bunkhouse is a camping experience - bring your own bedding. A/C, heat, electricity, TV & DVDs, Microwave, and Mini fridge are inside. Guests use campground restrooms
Campground restrooms and showers are a short walk from campgrounds.
We are pet-friendly. Dogs must be leashed at all times that they are not in a tent or camper and friendly with other dogs and people. There is a working dog on the property-he is friendly with all people and dogs.

The 10 acres are open to explore and include three RV/campsites with water at each location and a gorgeous gully that empties into the Arkansas River. When the river is at a normal level a rock shelf lines the entire length of the river to make fishing and sunbathing, a breeze!
If you want to venture out a bit, may we recommend the many offerings of Mount Nebo, Petit Jean Mountain, Mount Magazine, Altus, Russelville, and Conway; all located within 30 minutes to an hour from the campgrounds.

Adjacent dirt, public access and forest service roads are available for off highway motorsports while it's still stays pretty quiet on location at Fox Pass. Great launch site for tourists wanting to visit Mt. Magazine State Park, Mulberry River Adventures, Mt. Nebo State Park, Jack Creek Rec Area, Blue Mountain Reservoir Paris, AR. and more.
It's also a Great launch site for hwy motorcycle enthusiast who will love the scenic curvy, low traffic highways in the area such as the Pig Trail Hwy to Eureka Springs, The Hwy 10 and 7 run to Hot Springs and the famous Hwy 7 run from I 40 north through Jasper to Harrison. All incredibly beautiful paved roads to ride.
Fox Pass is conveniently located half way between Hot Springs, AR and Eureka Springs, AR, both popular tourist spots w Hot Baths, Local Arts, Shopping, Fine Dining and more in the 'Springs' towns. Locally there are restaurants, fast food and groceries in nearby Paris, AR or Booneville, AR. Also only 4 miles from 'The Barn at Meadowbrook' venue.

Not to be confused with John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt, John Paul Hammerschmidt Lake extends 26 miles along the Arkansas River in both Arkansas and Oklahoma. Its shoreline is characterized by bottomland hardwood timber banks, steep bluffs, open fields, and urban developments.
There are oodles of recreational opportunities among four smaller parks, most notably fishing. The fertile waters harbor all kinds of fish native to the state, and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission stocks the lake with striped sea bass and sauger. Year round catch includes catfish, bream, crappie, white and largemouth bass. Multi-purpose trails are also a popular activity.

Ouachita Campground at Edendell is a great place to basecamp out of. We offer 26 full hook up rv sites with free wifi, tent camping, glamping deck, and guest house. We have 6 Kayaks for rent with optional shuttle service. Near by activities are ATV trails, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, boating, crystal digging, diamond mine is 1 hour away. We also have an airsoft battle ground on site for special occasions.

Located on the Arkansas River and just minutes from Interstate 40 in Atkins, this RV/camping site backs right up to a gorgeous view of the Arkansas River and Petit Jean mountain. Water and electricity are located at each site! Just minutes away you have boat access to the Arkansas River at Sweeden Island Park AND Lake Atkins through the Lucky Landing launch site. This site is a sportsman's paradise as it is also conveniently located to the Galla Creek Wildlife Management Area, also just minutes away. Also, we are located right across the river from Petit Jean State Park and a few minutes from quaint downtown Atkins.
Whether you're looking for great fishing and hunting or a peaceful respite from the world with a million-dollar view, this is the site for you! The 10 acres are open to explore and include three RV/campsites with water at each location and a gorgeous gully that empties into the Arkansas River. When the river is at a normal level a rock shelf lines the entire length of the river to make fishing and sunbathing, a breeze!
If you want to venture out a bit, may we recommend the many offerings of Mount Nebo, Petit Jean Mountain, Mount Magazine, Altus, Russelville, and Conway; all located within 30 minutes to an hour from the campgrounds.

Easy Trails for hiking provide opportunities for mild exercise as well as nature, flora and wildlife viewing. Family oriented activities such as horseshoes, corn hole, rope swing, community fire ring w free fire wood provided (bring your marshmallows).
Adjacent dirt, public access and forest service roads are available for off highway motorsports while it's still stays pretty quiet on location at Fox Pass. Great launch site for tourists wanting to visit Mt. Magazine State Park, Mulberry River Adventures, Mt. Nebo State Park, Jack Creek Rec Area, Blue Mountain Reservoir Paris, AR. and more.
It's also a Great launch site for hwy motorcycle enthusiast who will love the scenic curvy, low traffic highways in the area such as the Pig Trail Hwy to Eureka Springs, The Hwy 10 and 7 run to Hot Springs and the famous Hwy 7 run from I 40 north through Jasper to Harrison. All incredibly beautiful paved roads to ride.
Fox Pass is conveniently located half way between Hot Springs, AR and Eureka Springs, AR, both popular tourist spots w Hot Baths, Local Arts, Shopping, Fine Dining and more in the 'Springs' towns. Locally there are restaurants, fast food and groceries in nearby Paris, AR or Booneville, AR. Also only 4 miles from 'The Barn at Meadowbrook' venue.

Learn more about this land:This area is brimming with outdoor activity! The Mulberry River is just a short walk away with all the fishing and paddling you want. There is a public launch with parking just across the road for floating access. Be on the OHT via the Indian Creek spur trail in no time. Byrds Adventure Center is 2 miles down the road for off-road fun, a general store, canoe rentals, and more.
*Heads up especially if you are in a small car, it’s usually ok to go down the small hill but in wet weather it may become slick. If you’re not sure about making it back up, there is an area to park by the driveway :)

This place was breathtaking, if you love primitive camping & ATV trails, I went camping with my dog for some peace and hiking. The place is huge, the trails aren’t really marked very well for hiking so it was a bit of a challenge finding landmarks. I would highly recommend staying here if you love the outdoors. The owner was extremely nice.

We had a great camping trip here at spot #1. We had the entire grounds to ourselves the first night, and only one other couple the second. The creek crossing to the site was a little rocky, so a good amount of ground clearance is needed. Overall we had a wonderful time enjoying this hidden corner of the Kings!

Weekend Trip to End of the Trail
This is a magical place!!! It is in a very secluded area. Had to pass a small creek which I was scared to do in my car that’s low to the ground, but it probably could have made it. Great place to have a fire and look at the stars. The only thing I wish is that we had more time!!! It was peaceful listening to the river at night. Also saw deer.

Great little spot that you won’t have to share with many or any others. You’re right on the Fourche La Fave river. You have a fire pit basically on the river with a nice gazebo adorned with warm string lights. 20/30/50 amp power worked flawlessly and you have water as well. Great spot. The hosts are super nice. 10/10 would camp here again!

I was traveling across the country and arrived late at night after a long day of travel, but we were able to still easily set up for the night based on the instructions. The sky of stars, without any light pollution, was spectacular! We had a great time and would love to come back!

Amazing spot. They really made sure there’s everything you could need at the site. The river is beyond beautiful. The pavilion had all the extras one could need and more. We had an amazing time and will be back as soon as possible in Spring. I even had a dead battery in my car as we were trying to leave and Daniel came to the rescue to give me a jump start. Best Hipcamp we’ve been to yet!

I stayed in site #14 this past weekend and I loved it! It's by the river, it was secluded. You can still see some of your neighbors but it still felt private. You have your own driveway to your spot. I arrived friday but the next few days I had the place basically to myself. I had my own portable potty and shower so I didn't really use the bathroom the campgrounds had but if you needed to use it, coming from site 14, it'd be a bit of a walk up. Make sure you have adequate light with you. They kept the campground bathroom lit up but going to it, bring your light cz the area is dark at night. It was so peaceful. 2 dogs and a cat came to visit me, each at seperate times but stayed with me for a bit and they were the sweetest pets! You won't regret staying here. At night and waking up you just hear the river. Definitely coming back here!! Thank you.
