Batesville Mountain Campground is about "getting away from it all" with nary another soul in sight. If you have qualms about being alone in the woods -- this is NOT the place!! There are only four campsites on the entire property so you are always out of sight and hearing of any -- you can even upgrade for $10/night and have the entire property all to yourself! It is that special!! And absolutely jaw-dropping beautiful! Sparky, the stone mason who quarried, cut and stacked every rock on every trail within the campground, has created a wondrous place to come camp and explore. We are also now restoring Sparky's original homestead -- the one room Green Cabin is soon to be our new "romantic retreat" with outdoor kitchen and shower, chicken house, and two-hole traditional Swedish "utedass"–or privy. As to where to sleep ... well you may lay your head anywhere -- under the stars, atop a pinnacle, out in a field or sheltered in the woods by the river. BUT this is "DIY" camping -- as we have day jobs we are unable to cater to your every whim and you will have to be able to "depend on yourself" to negotiate the campground, set up your campsite and secure needed resources. Thus if there is any concern or question you really should stay at one of our other properties either Camp Toasty or Pinnacle Springs Recreational Camp. PLEASE -- we don't want to be bothered with phone calls and text messages -- not here anyway. Trails from Sparky's Cabin lead in all directions offer access to hiking, swimming, fishing and paddling. Host is very accommodating. Cabin is rustic but has everything you need. It is a little rough but the view of the pond at sunrise is beautiful

Weekend Trip to Pinnacle Bus Stop~ Blue Bungalow

A quick weekend trip to Little Rock was fantastic; the Pinnacle Bus was a real highlight. Quick and easy find, located a short ride into town. The bus was cozy, clean and set up with all the extras (fire pit was a favorite!). We loved staying here, big reccommendations!

Nice spot but had issues with the reservation. They thought I reserved a couples dome when I got the dome for 4 people. So I thought. Their reservation system didn’t show what Hipcamp reserved for me. The staff was apologetic and brought an extra bed. Not a comfortable one but they tried. We also ended up with less on the deck. There was only one hanging chair when the dome I reserved was supposed to have 2.

Beautiful piece of property. We had a blast swimming in the creek. The cabin was clean and cozy. Our dog had a blast exploring the area with us as well. You definitely need a vehicle with decent ground clearance to access the sites by the creek.

We absolutely loved our time here!! There were a few other campers at campsites pretty far away from us. We usually camp in our Rooftop Tent but decided to enjoy the cabin for this weekend and it was really cozy and fun! The views of the creek were gorgeous!!

We loved every second of our time here! Our kids loved playing in the creek and swing set, collecting quartz and other gems. Accommodations were perfect and the animals and area were so charming. Highly recommend!

2 nights at Starlight Haven Hot Springs

Absolutely incredible place to stay if you're going to Hot Springs. Great location that is maybe a five drive from the main street next to all the Bath Houses. The cabin was amazing, beautifully furnished, hot tub and grill both worked great, and they had everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Walked the property and all of the other options at Starlight Haven looked just as good. We will be coming back, hopefully soon!

We enjoyed ourselves greatly! The campsite was clean and accessible, yet off the beaten path! The trails we gorgeous and the owners were kind and helpful! We will definitely be staying again abs for a longer period of time!

1 night at Fern Dell: Secluded Woodland Glamp

I reserved the site for an outdoor date. If yall want an easy night to pull up and camp with all the amenities this is the place! Great spot for sunset views, close to cedar glades park and all its hikes, camp fire with wood on site, kitchen, bathroom, hammock, literally easy camping mode and my date loved it. Brought my own food but and there were cooking utensils, oil, some spices, and easy clean up. The host was easy to contact and they answered all my questions.

The location and asthetics were amazing! We loved how clean the place was but also how organized! It was cozy and modern. The hot tub was ready and clean. The windows finally the bubbles and cabinets were positions so that they couldn't face each other or see inside each other. It was a smart way to keep it private. Also, the hosts were very quick to respond with any request and helps us quickly resolve a booking snafu caused by us. I would definitely recommend this place!

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful views of the pond and pasture, land, cows, and calves. We rowed across the pond several times, and even caught a few fish. The host was super friendly and helpful. He was very quick to respond. We will definitely be back.

Very clean. Hot water and pressure was great. Hostess was very quick to respond. Cabin is close to main road but was quiet, we did not hear any road noise but it is located away from town. Convient store was up front made it easy if you needed anything or just wanted to walk over to get breakfast or lunch. Everything you need was provided. No stove but microwave was present. We just needed a place to lay down our head a couple of nights after a long day at an event. Served our purpose and was much cheaper than a hotel and quieter because you don't have people coming up and down the hall way and people all around. You have your own personal space which was nice. Would rent again.
