BJ Ranch is a 550 acre livestock ranch and home to the Lerchers. Checkout www.lercher15trails.com for some history and trail information. We offer 16 miles of biking and hiking trails; several campsites; showers/restrooms;fishing; farm raised beef; Ranch tours/ tool demonstrations classes; and cattle roundups at certain times of the year. Walk to Cane Creek which runs through the ranch. Good cell reception. Please respect the Ranch's Dog policy; Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Please read your campsite rules.

#1 Mansion Rocks

This site has a level area to pitch a tent. Site #1 is located just inside the woods along the edge of the Mansion Field. There are huge rocks, picnic table, fire pit, railroad tie benches, trash can, and lantern holders at this site. Access biking/hiking trails right from this campsite. Campers are allowed to drive within 10 yards of this site to unload/load gear. This site is sometimes unavailable when ranch cattle are in the Mansion Field. The Mansion Field is named for an old house (Mansion) that stood until 1950 on the edge of the field. Now all that's left is a rock chimney. Can you find it? Camp firewood is provided in the price. Great cell phone signal.

#3 Clint's Campsite

Site #3 Clint's Campsite is named after Mr. Joe's son. Clint originally camped at this location when he was just a teenager. Since then we've always referred to this location on the ranch as Clint's Campsite. After sitting unused for many years the site needed some sprucing up. The site has a firepit, picnic talble, 2 benches around the firepit, lantern holders, cell reception and a trashcan. It has several flat areas to pitch a tent and is located right off the trails. This site is located in the northeast corner of the Mansion Field. Like all the other campsites, it's basic. Restrooms, showers, and tapwater / microwave/ fridge are located near the trailhead / Ranch entrance. Please follow ranch rules.

This site has a level area to pitch a tent. Site #2 is located in the north woods of the Dove Patch field. Located at this site: picnic table, fire pit, railroad tie benches, trash can, and lantern holders. Access the biking/hiking trails right from this campsite. Campers are allowed to drive to this site to unload/load gear. This site is sometimes unavailable when ranch cattle are in the Dove Patch field. This site is named after the 9th Lercher sibling. Camp firewood is provided in the price. Great cell phone signal!

Site #4 sits among large rocks along the edge of the Mansion Field. The site has a fire pit, railroad tie benches, a picnic table, trash can, and lantern holders. This site is located approx. one mile from the ranch entrance, restrooms, showers, and trailhead. As always the Ranch has a nog policy.

This Cabin is overlooking a beautiful large pond. This is an old cabin that is rustic looking on the outside but nice and comfortable on the inside. It has A/C and a nice deck overlooking the pond. It is located about 1 mile from the farm entrance. 550 acres with 16 miles of hiking/mountain bike trails for your enjoyment. Also, fishing with a catch and release policy. The late "Uncle Jack Lercher" hand built this cabin using Ranch Timber and his sawmill.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful views of the pond and pasture, land, cows, and calves. We rowed across the pond several times, and even caught a few fish. The host was super friendly and helpful. He was very quick to respond. We will definitely be back.

Uncle Jack's Cabin
Absolutely loved the overall vibe and comfort from staying at this traditional cabin. Getting to be near the cows while going on a peaceful walk around the pond was a joy. The host was very punctual, accommodating, and all around helpful. Definitely a great place to escape from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We had a lovely time at BJ's ranch for the eclipse. It was a last minute booking and they were very communicative. The site was great, had a trash can, picnic table, and giant fire pit! Cute cows and awesome to have a bathroom and potable water on site. As we expected from the listing, it's a bit of hike/drive to the bathroom/potable water area. Lots of fun walking around their huge property while waiting for the eclipse.

The owners met us when we got and explained where everything was. They led us to our camp site which was a secluded wooded site complete with firewood , picnic table and small covered table. There are 2 complete bathrooms at the trailhead area. We were motorcycle tent camping and this place was perfect. The farm is beautiful and we loved our stay.

The baby calves were everywhere! We also enjoyed the extensive trail system on the 500 acre ranch. Firewood was provided and we met the one of the ranch founders, Betty. You won't be disappointed.
