Also feel free to turn it down if you need to, it is right under the kitchen sink. We recommend expecting a quick shower or turning the water off and on to soak your hair if you need to wash it and then lathering up. If the house is smelling bad in the bathroom, that is not normal and we will come and fix it.

Batesville Mountain Campground is about "getting away from it all" with nary another soul in sight. If you have qualms about being alone in the woods -- this is NOT the place!! There are only four campsites on the entire property so you are always out of sight and hearing of any -- you can even upgrade for $10/night and have the entire property all to yourself! It is that special!! And absolutely jaw-dropping beautiful! Sparky, the stone mason who quarried, cut and stacked every rock on every trail within the campground, has created a wondrous place to come camp and explore. We are also now restoring Sparky's original homestead -- the one room Green Cabin is soon to be our new "romantic retreat" with outdoor kitchen and shower, chicken house, and two-hole traditional Swedish "utedass"–or privy. As to where to sleep ... well you may lay your head anywhere -- under the stars, atop a pinnacle, out in a field or sheltered in the woods by the river. BUT this is "DIY" camping -- as we have day jobs we are unable to cater to your every whim and you will have to be able to "depend on yourself" to negotiate the campground, set up your campsite and secure needed resources. Thus if there is any concern or question you really should stay at one of our other properties either Camp Toasty or Pinnacle Springs Recreational Camp. PLEASE -- we don't want to be bothered with phone calls and text messages -- not here anyway. Trails from Sparky's Cabin lead in all directions offer access to hiking, swimming, fishing and paddling. The space We have 5 beautiful and comfortable log cabins nestled on over 700 acres of secluded private property in the Ozark mountains. The cabins are within walking distance from one another if you are interested in renting multiple cabins for a family reunion or such, but not visible from each other to allow for privacy from other guests. The only sounds you'll hear are the wind in the trees and the occasional critter come to spy on our guests! With identical floor plans, each cabin sleeps 4-6 and has a carpeted upstairs loft area with bathroom, closet, a queen bed and two twin beds. The bathroom is equipped with a single sink, toilet, shelves, mirror, and shower. The open downstairs living area features wood floors and a fully equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator/freezer, oven with cooktop, microwave, coffee pot, and dishes, and a sitting area with a pull-out sleeper sofa (either full or queen) or twin bed in the back room. Each cabin also has both a front and back porch with charcoal grill and furniture for enjoying the outdoors. Please bring your own drinking water as the well water has sulphur in it. Each cabin is equipped with a propane heater and wood stove, and we're happy to get the fire started for you if you need a bit of help. During the summer, the cabins stay cool in the shade of the woods with a window AC unit and ceiling fans. We do not have WIFI. We do have televisions and DVD players available for watching movies. Activities on the ranch include hiking, fishing, or heading down to the barn for a trail ride (please inquire about rates and availability), and we are conveniently located about 30 - 45 minutes away from historic downtown Eureka Springs, the Buffalo National River, Table Rock Lake, or shopping, shows, amusement parks and dining in Branson, Missouri. Beautiful piece of property. We had a blast swimming in the creek. The cabin was clean and cozy. Our dog had a blast exploring the area with us as well. You definitely need a vehicle with decent ground clearance to access the sites by the creek.

We absolutely loved our time here!! There were a few other campers at campsites pretty far away from us. We usually camp in our Rooftop Tent but decided to enjoy the cabin for this weekend and it was really cozy and fun! The views of the creek were gorgeous!!

We had such a wonderful stay at this secluded cabin in Jasper, Arkansas. The privacy and the hot tub were absolutely the highlights — exactly what we were hoping for. I have an overreactive dog, so I was a little nervous at first when we noticed a couple of free‑range dogs around the property. They checked us out briefly and then went on their way. A Husky stopped by twice a day just to say hello before wandering back home. There’s also a lovely little creek on the property, perfect for sitting beside and listening to the water. Both of my dogs adored it — they were in heaven the entire trip. Kara, the owner, was incredibly helpful and attentive to anything we needed. Her kindness made the stay even better. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to The Ridge at Buffalo Point

We had so much fun at this cabin! It’s the right size for a weekend getaway with a bed, small Roku TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, grill, and fire pit. The private bathhouse was a short walk from the cabin and was nice after a long day of outdoor activities. The property also offers a disc golf totem, swings, and open area to run around in. The location is also really close to the lower area of the Buffalo River. Easily a 5-10 minute drive to anything. Also, loved having Wild Bills, a gas station and convenience store, a short walk away for anything we forgot or needed. Loved meeting the gray kitty on the property. He was an absolute sweetheart and loved pets. Would definitely stay here again!!

Omg what a beautiful, amazing, secluded spot we went with our 3 children and stayed at the cabin we had such an amazing time!! The whole campground is full of beautiful spots to swim watch the water and hang out. Tanners pool trail was outstanding with so many waterfalls and spots to play in the water! We will absolutely be coming back and making this a regular family camping spot!! 😊

This simple little cabin was better than we ever could have imagined. Sitting on the porch listening to the water flow, was a dream come true. A great step up from tent camping w/o getting too fancy! My dogs also enjoyed their selves very much. 10/10 definitely recommend!!

Beautiful property! Very kind hosts! Have already recommended to friends wanting to float in the area. Such incredible diversity of flora and fauna. Great for an unplugged getaway with the fam. Hoping to go back if we are ever in the area again!

The place was so cute, clean, and cozy. It is rustic but nice. Easy check in. The view of the lake from the back desk is beautiful! Hosts were very helpful. Would highly recommend.
