Being downhill, next to the creek, I feel, is safer from tornados, as well, the echo goes uphill instead of downhill toward this property. I will be setting up the horseshoe pits soon and have board games as well as cards.  I enjoy and look forward to sharing the beautiful land I live on. The front of my property is very flat and grassy, from the creek fence to the front side of my house. Mature trees that line my property provide nice shade in the spring and summer, however, the property is open air. The stars are spectacular. There is no light pollution. (once it is dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face) This is a small town of about 2000 people or so. There are quite a few shops as well as a grocery store, hardware store, a couple auto stores as well as a couple dealerships. There is a drive through coffee shop as well as a couple drug stores available in town. There are 3 to 5 different repair shops around. There is a beautiful golf course, 5-8 minutes away, just around the corner. .   I live in a peaceful and extremely tranquil spot here. A good hideaway, if thats what you’re looking for.  Hide away and recoup before your next big adventure.  There are a few kids around that love to ride their ATVs, bikes, walk, skateboard and skate up and down Conniebrook Lane. We have bike rally's coming through town often, in the summer. Mt. View, AR, the bluegrass music capitol of the world is about 45 minutes away. Beautiful drive, to get there. Scenic overlooks on the way. Wheelchair Accessibility: I am sure any electric wheelchair would have no problem going over the grass area anywhere they wanted to go in the camping area. I hope if there are any issues, it would be brought to my attention and I would make it accommodating, immediately.. I am extremely handy and mechanical.

Weekend Trip to Shipps Landing White River

We were looking for a relaxing weekend away from the crowds, this was the perfect place. We were able to bring our ATV and enjoy the trails and view of the river. Host was very helpful with directions and the check-in process.

Weekend Trip to Shipps Landing White River

We had a wonderful, quiet stay here. Unfortunately, there is a severe drought and the creek wasn’t running but it was so quiet and peaceful that we didn’t even mind. The river is a hop skip and a jump from our camping spot so we ran down to take a look and enjoy the view. Speaking of views, it is worth taking the trails! We would definitely come back and encourage others to enjoy this property as well.

Host was very helpful. Loved the atmosphere and the cows. Plenty of walking space for us and our dog. So quiet at night, and no lights to spoil the night sky. Didn’t use any of the facilities.

A wonderful farm way off the road! Sites are wide with full hook ups. We only stayed one night on long haul across the country. Use google maps though, Apple Maps sends you the wrong direction! If your looking for peace and quiet and to get away from it all there isn't a better place.

Weekend Trip to Eminence Cottages and Camp

We stayed in the glamping tent, it was our first time ever staying in something like this. We typically either tent camp or stay in a cabin. It was a great location on the scenic byway. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do for a short weekend. The site was clean and the bed was super comfy. The night got cool so we were thankful for the heated bed. Thanks for a great stay!!

Weekend Trip to Twisted H Ranch LLC

Katrina was very kind and welcoming. The other campers were friendly as well. The spaces are close together, but just what I needed to sleep over for the night for a family gathering in the area. The bathroom/shower was nice and clean as well. I did go down to the river and it is quite the trip downhill in my 4-wheel truck, so might not be for everyone. It is secluded and quiet and lovely though. However, Buck Hollow is also nearby and not a far drive. It was quiet and I felt safe.

Weekend Trip to Williams Camp : Eleven Point River

We reserved the entire Williams camp for float trip group and it worked great! Had 4 campers setup and half dozen tents. Water and electric worked great also! Floated the eleven point river with Hufstedlars outfit. They were able to pickup/dropoff at our location, which is clutch, nobody had to drive after the float. It was really nice to have a place for our group all by ourselves, very secluded but still easily accessible. Phone service was 50/50 for some of us, but personally my phone worked well the entire time while at the campsite. You are definitely in the woods, so be ready with the bug spray and tick prevention. Overall, my group of 18 had a great experience here, we would def reserve this again when we come back to the 11pt River.

Wonderful camp with lots of space and amenities. Beyond friendly and helpful staff, who provided free coffee and advice on area activities. We stayed in the glamping tent, which was an excellent value and very cute and comfortable. All we had to bring was our clothing. Super close to town, but tucked into the woods and very secluded looking. Loved the porch and corn hole area, as well!

2 nights at Eminence Cottages and Camp

This safari-style glamping tent was awesome! I went with my three kids on a spontaneous trip in early July (we brought an extra cot), and it turned out to be the perfect little getaway. To my surprise, the tent even had A/C, which made a huge difference in the summer heat. The tent is located right at the front of the campground—not deep in the woods—but it’s nestled against a tree line, so it still feels peaceful and close to nature. It struck a great balance between comfort and that true camping vibe. We didn’t pick the spot for the location, but it ended up being ideal. It’s just 20 minutes from Rocky Falls, an incredible waterfall and swimming hole, and there’s a great little burger shack just four minutes down the road. We cooked all our meals right over the fire using our Dutch oven, and it worked perfectly with the provided fire rack—super easy and satisfying. All in all, it was the perfect two-night escape. — Oh and the host, Sandy, was tremendously kind.

We had a wonderful stay in the glamping tent—it was the perfect mix of comfort and nature. The ambiance was peaceful and cozy, and everything was incredibly clean, from the tent itself to the bathrooms, which were some of the cleanest we’ve seen at a campground. The heated bed was a great touch, especially on the cooler nights. The owners were very nice and super accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The campground was quiet, which made it easy to relax, and we loved meeting the friendly campground cat who wandered by to say hello. We had no issues with cell phone service, which was a plus, and the location was close to downtown Eminence, so it was easy to pop into town for food or supplies. We’d definitely come back again!

Wonderful, quiet, and fun. It really is a lovely piece of property’s. The hosts were nice and sent instructions on the best way to get our rig into the property. We did manage to get to our site almost problem free. We did encounter a low hanging branch that could not be avoided. It left a nice scratch, but other than that. It was a great site. Absolutely gorgeous and we will go again.

Weekend Trip to Robert's Redneck Retreat, LLC

Highly recommend!!! It was such a relaxing time. The views are absolutely beautiful, expesicially around sunset! The cabin was nice and clean! Easy to find! Amazing and down to earth hosts!!! Getting to be surround by nature and farm animals was just so peaceful. I enjoyed not having cell service and truly getting to take a step back and just enjoy life and time with my soulmate! Absolutely recommend and will be returning!

A great secluded little cabin in the woods where our dogs could run around off leash. We stayed in the winter this time and the wood stove heat was very nice. Like taking a step back into time 100 years!
