The gates will be open to Williams Rock Area by noon of your arrival. It's primitive camping, so find your own "spot" on the property, respect the privacy of others at their "spots". First come first serve on each spot. The camp spots are not graveled, leveled, etc.. just the bare earth. The majority of this property is the woods, open fields, rough terrain, etc. So you will experience all Nature has to offer. Things like poison ivy, seed ticks, chiggers, ants, spiders, snakes, wildlife...Always check with the host on the app before arrival. Arriving when it gets dark will mean you will be setting up in the dark unless you have brought lanterns. If you've booked a site, the gate will be open for you, but you will be on your own. The camp host from April 27 - July 1st is on call for guests needs, but is not on site. Checkout time is by Noon. Check in is at 2:00 pm. If you'd like to stay another night, you must reserve another night online.

I moved here in 2016 from Atlanta, Georgia. I actually lived in an RV in a beautiful park for several years there. And, loved it! I thought I was going to do that here, but changed my mind when I found this sweet little house on a couple of acres. Deer visit us, and bunnies make their homes here. I have cats and dogs of my own.

Turn from Hwy. 56 can be tricky for big rigs because of a ditch at Jones Street. Left hand turn is easier than right hand turn.
You can use the parking lot across the street to help you back your rig into the campsite. We have permission from the owner to do that.
There is room for your boat, too. Pets are welcome. Close to grocery, bank, gas.
The White River is famous for its trout fishing. Deer hunting in the area, too. (Not on this property.)
The hookups are on the left side (right side if you back in). You may need extensions for your power and sewer. I have them available, if you don’t have your own.

Our 11-site campground is situated on Arkansas Hwy 74E, approximately three miles east of Jasper and three miles west of the Hasty Cutoff for quick access to the Buffalo River! This is not a residential campground like so many in the area - it is exclusively for camping enthusiasts!
Being former camping enthusiasts ourselves, we built our RV park to accommodate rigs anywhere from a small popup to campers and motorhomes in excess of 40'. We also created each campsite to provide LOTS of personal space, with campsites being anywhere from 30 feet to 50 feet apart. Each site features a firepit, with small bundles of firewood available for purchase. Picnic tables are also available for your stay. We offer five campsites that are pull-through with full hookups, and six back-in sites that have water and electric only (a dump station is available for your convenience). Also featured is a BEAUTIFUL shower building; one side for the women, and one side for the men. Once you step inside and shut the door, you will have the beautifully tiled shower, toilet and lavatory to yourself until you are finished! Laundry facilities are also available on site - rather than charging exorbitant rates for using the washer and dryer like other RV parks or laundromats, we opted to make it available to our guests for a simple monetary donation. You have many camping options:
1) Streamside Camping: Secluded tent sites with easy access to Cadron creek – many with picnic tables, fire pits, grills, and lamp posts
2) RV Camping: Limited sites, pull-through, up to 30 feet, level, hard gravel base, with basic hookups (electricity, no full sewer)
3) Dispersed Camping: Outside of the campground there are nearly 100 acres available for camping. If you are up to roughing it a bit we'll point you in the right direction.
3) Cabins and Glamping: For those that like to settle right in we have rustic cabins and campers with modern comforts (some include AC, heating, and kitchenettes)
Activities and amenities include swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, a 6-acre foraging field and 9-hole Frisbee golf course, bouldering, zen/meditation deck, climbing, psicobloc and more outdoor pursuits than one has time to pursue. Children can enjoy the Ninja rope course with zipline, slackline, and rope swing and petting Biscuit and Buttercup – our favored Kunekune forest pigs. And, Woolly Hollow State Park, Cove Creek Natural Heritage Area, Persimmon Ridge Resort and Greer's Ferry Lake are a short drive away.
We invite you to our little piece of paradise on the Cadron. Bathe in a forest of tall standing pines and oak trees. Sit on the bank of a cascading stream. Embrace nature. We lie at the edge of civilization but we have good cell phone service and water hydrants and electrical outlets for recharging phones. And from March through November hot water showers are freely available.
Our place is a bit rough, rugged and unruly yet we call it home -- a place where everyone regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, political views, religion, or culture is welcomed to come enjoy nature's marvelous works and wonders. The area was absolutely stunning. The views are breathtaking. Everything is so nice and clean and the hosts are very welcoming. We celebrated our 30th anniversary here. Robert and his wife had muffins and cookies waiting on us. The air stream is a wonderful addition. We made morning coffee and watched the sun come up. I highly recommend for a great weekend getaway.

Robert's lands was excellent for tent camping over the weekend. The views from the hill top are breathtaking and it's also great for stargazing with minimal artificial light. I wasn't expecting the trailer with a kitchenette, bathroom and wifi, great amenities that surely lots of people appreciate. I'll definitely be returning!

I loved the view and the cold spring that flowed thru the camping area. Walter was super nice and the place was truly Peaceful!
The flash flooding has definitely damaged the road and there is plenty of clean up still to be done to put it all back to perfection, but it was perfect for us since we took a 6X12 utility trailer we have converted to a camper and had our own bathroom and shower set-up. (the outhouses were pretty rough, so I am glad we did not need to use them.)

First, the drive in was scenically gorgeous, and fnding the campsite was astoundingly easy, even being off main roads, everything was clearly labeled. Pulling into the campsite, you definitely feel a sense of peace and privacy. We were in a tent and there was a perfect spot to tuck under some trees for daytime shade. It was such a luxury to have access to electricity and running water, not to mention wifi access for a late night movie was a definite bonus. We were 100 yards from a spring-fed creek, which was crystal clear, with plenty of shallow wading spots and other places were deep enough to swim. We took our river float on the creek and gently floated along until we came to the edge of the property and then did it all over again. This is the most relaxed I have been in years, and my friend and I felt so lucky that we found that paradise last minute. We stayed five days, four nights and had the most blissful time. 10/10 would definitely recommend, and I think my bestie and I found a place we'll want to return again and again. The hosts came by to greet us and were sure to give us a great map of the property they own so that we could explore all there was to see. They were even kind enough to leave some tubes for swimming. I enjoyed meeting them both, and although they're new to hip camp, their hospitality was top notch, with considerations for every kind of camper.

Being new to hicamp as well as solo camping. I honestly don't know what to expect. Was everything I was hoping for. Completely safe campsite by the water. It was a bit chilly at night so no fans to drown out the beautiful sounds of nature. The hiking trails are amazing with plenty of places to just relax and get lost in nature. The Owners strict policy to preserve and leave nature as it is has left so much natural growth you dont get to experance often. Cant wait to see the waterfall when the water was up. I enjoyed walking up the center relaxing on the rocks with it dry. My puppy enjoyed every moment of his creek adventure. We definitely will be returning!

We stayed on Walter’s land over the July 4th weekend for a tent camping trip and had a great experience overall. The sites offered plenty of space, so we never felt crowded and had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy ourselves.
The waterfront spot was definitely the highlight for us. The flowing creek was absolutely perfect during the summer heat and quickly became one of those things we wouldn’t want to camp without again.
Walter was friendly and welcoming. When he stopped by to introduce himself, he found out our air pump had quit working and was kind enough to air up our mattresses for us, which was a huge help after a long day of setting up camp.
Another nice bonus was that Wi-Fi is available if you want or need it while camping. Walter also put on a small amateur fireworks show for guests during the holiday weekend. Depending on your campsite location and the tree line, you may need to take a short walk to get the best view, but it was a fun extra touch for the holiday atmosphere.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Walter’s property to anyone looking for a spacious and relaxing camping experience with creek access and a helpful host.

Michelle was a very helpful and accommodating host. We came down on a holiday weekend and despite that she was very attentive to our needs. It rained a lot while we were down but that did not hurt the experience. The water toys and water on property were so fun!
