Welcome to Barker Gap! Opened in August 2024, we offer three beautifully shaded RV/camper spots: two pull-through and one back-in. We have no size or slide-out restrictions, as our spots were built with your comfort in mind. All sites come standard with 50A/30A/110 electric hookups, city water, a BBQ/park grill, a 30-inch fire-pit bowl, and sewage hookups. Wi-Fi is also included for all campers.

A cozy one-room, one-bathroom cabin built to sleep four. It features:

Kitchenette: Mini fridge/freezer, Keurig coffee maker, and microwave.
Bathroom: A metal-wrapped, 22-inch deep soaking tub with a rainfall shower head and a wave-activated hand dryer.
Tech & Comfort: 43-inch Wi-Fi-connected Smart TV and electrical outlets with integrated USB ports.
Outdoor: Includes your own 30-inch fire-pit bowl.

The Cub Cabin
A cozy and inviting rustic retreat in Natural Dam. It features:

The St. Francis National Forest is more diverse, with the St. Francis and Mississippi Rivers running through it, as well as lakes, valleys, and tons of wildlife. My husband and I built this tiny cabin with our bare hands. No equipment, no other help. We wanted something to share with family, friends and anyone else looking to get away from this overly modern and exhausting world. It seems places like this available to people are disappearing. We wanted to bring it back. Hopefully you'll love and respect it!

A fantastic place to get away! Brian and his wife are fantastic people who care about what they do. Us, coming from West Texas, they made us feel right at home and offered any advice they had. Great location if you are looking to ride the trails! The cabins have a Blackstone grill, mini fridge and a microwave along with a full size tub and shower. If we ever get a chance to go back that direction, I will definitely be in touch! Excellent experience!

We loved staying at the Bear Den! Brian and Misty were super nice and helpful. They checked in with us a couple times to make sure we were good. They answered any questions we had about the surrounding area. We especially loved how they took every little detail into consideration with the cabin and campground. We will definitely be back!

Loved our stay!
The cabin is beautifully designed, incredibly peaceful, and truly one of those rare places that helps you slow down and reconnect with nature.
My wife and I spent a few days here celebrating our 15th anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We enjoyed the spectacular views, quiet mornings with coffee, evenings by the fire, and the outdoor soaking tub—which is an absolute must!
You can tell Curtis and Morgan poured their hearts into building this place. If you’re looking to unplug and recharge, this little mountaintop retreat is truly something special.
Oh, and the drive in is fun and not so daunting if you have the proper vehicle and wheels with a little grip.

Clean, clean, clean! Such a nice property. The hosts were very accommodating. They reccomened places of interest in the area. And even gave us a small history lesson of the area. The cabin was so well kitted out! Games for kids and adults, too. Lots of extras! They plan on adding a dish washing station and a camp store.
