There is a public launch with parking just across the road for floating access. Be on the OHT via the Indian Creek spur trail in no time. The Ozark National Forest covers most of the Ozark Mountains, including the highest peak in the state. It’s awesome here when the dogwood and redbuds bloom in the spring, and when the leaves change color in the fall. The St. Francis National Forest is more diverse, with the St. Francis and Mississippi Rivers running through it, as well as lakes, valleys, and tons of wildlife. This beautiful property sits on the banks of the Fourche La Fave (pronounced Foosh La Fay)
River. This 151 mile long river was once the grounds of the Caddo Native American Tribe. The river is now home to a wide variety of wildlife, and offers multiple species of fish. This area boasts an expansive network of country dirt roads and trails for your ATV/UTV or Jeep, and is less than five miles from the Ouachita National Forests' Fourche Mountain Trail. All this but still close to civilization. A 24 hour convenience store is less than two miles from the campsite. This quaint little spot has a lot to offer!

What a great find! The directions were easy to follow and once inside, it was easy to find. The site itself was beautiful and so peaceful. The picnic table is really nice, the charcoal grill was an excepted bonus, and the giant pile of firewood was so nice to have. The ground was perfect for our tents and the area that was cleared for hammocks was great.
We went on an evening walk and ran into some locals who were extremely pleasant. The walk along the water is really pretty and quiet. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the fall. You can tell this area is well loved.

A fantastic place to get away! Brian and his wife are fantastic people who care about what they do. Us, coming from West Texas, they made us feel right at home and offered any advice they had. Great location if you are looking to ride the trails! The cabins have a Blackstone grill, mini fridge and a microwave along with a full size tub and shower. If we ever get a chance to go back that direction, I will definitely be in touch! Excellent experience!

So lovely, secluded, charming spot by the river. Great site for stargazing and really perfect river spot to lounge in shallow or enjoy deeper. I was there in a full moon night & the campsite was mowed, had a charcoal grill and a nice clean pick nic table. Tall trees surround it and the site has sun and shade.
