1 night at Bluegill Hill

We had an amazing time there! Charles our host was extremely careful and just made our experience all that more memorable! He offers firewood at reasonable prices! This was a very much needed time away to reconnect!the campsite is very private and beautiful! We had a 16' Sibley pro 600 bell tent that just fit (but this tent is huge! I'm mentioning this for people to get an idea of the main place is capable of big family tents. This place is right off US70west but sits back pretty far and is quiet and even during the week day you barely hear the semi trucks passing by. His listing is exactly what you get. It is primitive and definitely looking forward to returning in the future!

3 nights at Bluegill Hill

This was my 1st Hip camp experience on my own and I gotta say it was the best!!! Very clean and quiet even with it being so close to the road it was quiet! We have a 16' Sibley 500 bell tent and it fit tbt the area is honestly designed for a smaller tent and would be perfect for a hammock. It is a primitive site so bring water and a power source if your needs require it. Just a heads up we did shower at Jim Wylie rec area but tbt I don't know if we were supposed to or not since we weren't camping at that location but there wasn't anyone around to ask but if your willing to chance it like we did just know I might be a risk. Charles and his sweet dog and chickens were a highlight and super friendly and the best hosts! Firewood reasonable prices too at the site. We stayed 3 night and booked 4 total just so we could take our time packing up and not rush and enjoy it a bit more. We would love to come back again!!! Another heads up for those who might be thinking of visiting crater of diamonds: stop at a dollar tree and get trowels and bring buckets and a canopy or yard umbrella for shade and look up making screens and by doing this saves you over $100 in rental fees and such. Also do bring good tick and mosquito spray!!! Highly recommend permethrin as well as tick body repellent. We (my husband and I) had a blast mostly just relaxing and reconnecting and Fox Nook was the perfect spot to do just that! The stars in the sky at the sight were so pretty and listening to the owls.

1 night at Hot Springs Luxury Park-Finish Line

The entire area was pristine! The lounge area with restrooms and showers was fantastic. It was air conditioned with a couch to relax on, TV to watch with snacks available to purchase. The property was centrally located with easy access to the Hot Springs Natl Park. Check in and access was efficient with timely text correspondence. Would definitely stay here again.

5 nights at Ouachita Campground at Edendell

Just spent a week here & it was so peaceful. The hosts were very nice & very accommodating. They have plenty of washers & dryers if you plan on digging for crystals or if you just need some clean clothes. They also have 2 showers with hot water for a nice shower after rockhounding. And if the weather gets bad they have a stove & kitchen area for you to cook. The scenery is so beautiful & breathtaking. Thank you Joanna & Jason for a peaceful beautiful stay, we will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Bluegill Hill

Really enjoyed our time at Fox Nook. Clean and quiet, directions were clear and our host Charles was responsive. Would definitely stay here again. The lake is just a very short walk down one of two trails and very secluded. Just check yourself for ticks as 2 of the 4 people in our group had them.

This was a great stay in a beautiful pasture! We woke up to a beautiful sunrise and were soon greeted by horse kisses. The hosts were incredibly attentive and it was a great place to stay.

We loved camping on Todd's land! The outdoor bathhouse was great after spending the day on the river/trails. Appreciated being able to use the kayaks. It rained quite a bit, but we had a good time hanging out on the porch.

We had such an enjoyable time during our stay at Amanda’s. They were very welcoming and we even caught some fish at their pond! Make sure you bring treats for their sweet horses too :)

Easy to book, easy to find, and a nice level spot (we had a camper) very quiet, with fire ring and great green rolling pasture views. The sunrise was gorgeous. Only 15 miles from Hot Springs NP. Hosts Amanda and Jordan were kind and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful camping experience! The host Charles was extremely kind and hospitable, and the site was a great location and perfect for tent camping. The lake made this experience even better too!! I would highly recommend Fox Nook.

We stayed at the old tractor site. It’s a nice spot close to the shower and toilet. Easy to get our camper van in and out. The host is super friendly. All around, a great stay.

We loved camping in our RV at Ouachita River Haven! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and watching the sun go down over the river. We definitely will come back to visit again!

Easy to find. Joanna was there to greet and show me around, was quick to respond, very up beat and pleasant. 1st time glamping, stayed 2 nights on deck loved the idea of not having to carry all the camping gear and not having to break it all down. The comforts of home but yet still had outdoor experience. Town was 30 minute drive. Joanna was very helpful at recommending places to visit. Extension cord and USB was available to charge devices or bring a fan if needed. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Sunsets on the Arkansas River

Sitting above the Arkansas River you have an excellent view of the river from two vantage points. With a large almost 2 acre clearing there is plenty of room to roam. Magical sunsets and more stars than you can count! When it's a full moon, you can watch it coming up through the trees as you are sitting in front of the fire. If you are really lucky, sometimes you can watch the searchlight from the river barges as they navigate the big bend in the river. If you are a nature lover this place has it all. Navigate to the entrance here (https://maps.app.goo.gl/GyC2mifqGSaosHSm7) and you will find the main entrance to both sites: Is located near the bottom of the road but actually has two views of the river. It is very secluded and a little more concealed, which can be good on hot days as there are more trees for coverage. NOTE: Site 2 can only support tents and small popups. The site will allow for multiple vehicles to be parked, so no problem there. If you bring any vehicles please do not ride them on the property as they damage the grass, there are lots of good off-road riding to be had in the area. Toadsuck Lock and Dam park are about 30 minutes away, and if you need a big Walmart there is one 10 minutes past that. There is also a big Walmart about 30 minutes in the other direction at the intersection of Chenal Parkway and Cantrell Road. And if you like hiking and climbing then you cannot miss Pinnacle Mountain State Park! Climb to the top and get the best views in all the area, 360 degrees views up there. And if you want something a little less steep, the Kingfisher trail at the bottom makes a nice gentle loop next to the Little Maumelle river where you can see absolutely GIANT cypress trees. Also, the Ouachita National Recreation Trailpasses just 5 miles from our place, and it loops around the entire north side of Lake Maumelle. There is a trailhead and parking near North Shore Landing. (Note on trails: Some trails are a little rough due to forest thinning operations that were done in Dec '24. We hope to have the trails back in great shape soon.) It's a great location for romantic getaways, silent personal retreats, yoga, playing in the river, or just spending quiet one-on-one time with your spouse or significant other. The last 1/2 mile of dirt road is sometimes rough, so cars with low ground clearance are not recommended. Campers on Thunder Mountain enjoy the entire property, including the unique outdoor bathhouse with outdoor tub and shower, amazing multi-level decks, kayaks, grill, trails, hammocks, and tubes - without the cost of the cabin. The cabin will be vacant during camping stays, but you can still enjoy the WiFi and other amenities outside. Pricing: ($30-90/night camping; $190-280/night cabin - listed separately) Last minute bookings may have discounted rates. Camping bookings for 1 to 2 nights are sometimes available even if the calendar does not show due to cabin cleaning days. We'll try to move our cleaning days around to help you out if possible. Crystal Camp

The Crystal Camp Campground is a rock hounding paradise and is less than two minutes from the Crystal Vista, Wegner and Avatar Crystal mines. This area of Arkansas produces some of the finest quartz crystals on earth and your chances of finding real treasure at any of the nearby mines is pretty much guaranteed. If your kids like to play in the dirt and hunt for treasure they will fill their pockets with real gems at any of the nearby mines. Please Note: This is a beautiful property and ready for your trip but guests should expect a work in progress as well. The property is newly cleared, we installed new picnic tables and have fire rings, but that's the extent of the amenities right now. This property was basically a 2 acre blackberry patch. About half has been cleared and 4 campsites created but the rest is still in progress. Work will not be performed during your stay. You may see tools and signs of recent work etc.. Located on a paved section of Owley Road in Mount Ida Arkansas. This is a large 2 acre property with four cleared sites that offer plenty of room for any size tent(s). Generators are welcome and pets are too. The property is bordered by old growth national forest and an ice cold spring fed stream is located in the national forest behind the property. Like all wooded areas in Arkansas ticks should be expected while hiking and camping at the Crystal Camp Campground. Please bring tick defense for yourself and pets.

Guests receive a sample of the lovely bars of goat's milk soaps made with the finest oils and goat's milk from their granddaughter's prize-winning goats. James and Jimmilea enjoy hosting their guests and will offer as much or as little interaction as guests prefer. They welcome groups as well. Summer catch-and-release fishing, hiking, and enjoying the small dipping pool, playground, game court, and a large fire pit by the pond and three other fire-pit areas near the RV and campsites as well as by Yacht and the Cottage. These are just a few of the things that help make a stay at Jubilee Farms special. Picnic tables and charcoal grills provide for family enjoyment.
