You can choose from multiple campsites, but we will not book anyone else during your stay.
Camp right next to the Illinois River under giant oaks, ash trees, and sycamores with a waterfall behind you and the river in front. Or move up the hill and enjoy the 10 mile view (when leaves are dropped) while watching the sunset. Seriously, it’s the best view west of Fayetteville. The deep shade of the campsite with the breeze coming over river keeps the space surprisingly cool even in extreme heat. Feeling fun? Camp in the old dirt mine with 10’ walls around you shaded by a massive pine growing in the center and oaks around the perimeter.
Hiking trails have been cut for you to enjoy the property. Make sure to check out “Mini Hawksbill Crag”- a rocky outcropping hanging off the cliff side. Another fun trail leads you up a creek bed with multiple small waterfalls.
A couple canoes and kayaks are available to float the river if you desire as an add on. You can go upstream easily in normal water flow!
If you’re looking for fun family time with your kids, I will do whatever I can to help you during your stay to make lasting memories. We’re big believers in families enjoying the outdoors together!
A truck can be driven to riverside campsite when dry or there is a 100 yard walk from a small parking area. More vehicles can be parked on top of hill which is 5 minute walk.
There is a picnic table and fire pit at the riverside campsite. Bald Eagles are seen most days in the winter. Birders will also appreciate the feeder in the campsite.
Fishing poles are available as an add on. You can bring your own too! Catch small mouth, large mouth, bream, crappie, catfish, gar, and carp/buffalo, but you’re competing with the neighborhood beaver so be on the lookout for him! Please release small mouth besides a legal keeper is 14" (6-7 year old fish!) and limit of 2.
Rear wheeled drive vehicles should park at the parking area by old stable

We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails that you can bush wack your way through just behind the campground. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind everyone that consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. We have a private swimming area on our property which is just a short hike from the developed campsites (Please ask the camphost for directions).
There are miles of county maintained bumpy dirt roads leading to the site. Expect your vehicle to get dusty. There is a creek crossing that is required to reach the campsites. We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.

Located 5 miles outside of Eureka Springs city limits there you can find shopping, restaurants, nightlife, zip lines, mountain biking, horseback riding, and many other things. I am a stone throw away from Holiday Island city limits where you can find restaurants, golfing, walking trails, and the marina where you can rent a boat or just put yours in. There is a RV and boat storage facility on the property so if you like this area that much you can store your toys here and come back every weekend to play with them. I just got started on this new adventure so in the years to come I will be putting in water and electric hook ups, including a dump site.

Our charming tiny home spans 400 sq ft and includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full-sized appliances, and a 100 sq ft deck overlooking the pond.
The campsite is now open and features a tent platform, picnic table, and a fire pit for your enjoyment.
Want to try camping and don't have the gear - we have you covered with a four-person tent, queen size air mattress, cooking stove/pots and sleeping bags/blankets. - You don't have to set it up or take it down, we take care of all of it for you!
Just ask to add the Glamp It Up Package (a $25-set up/take down fee, plus an additional 20.00 per night fee will be charged for use of all camping equipment. This also helps to cover the cost of waste management, washing gear, dishes, etc.

We have a private swimming area on our property which is just a short hike from the developed campsites (Please ask the camphost for directions).
There are miles of county maintained bumpy dirt roads leading to the site. Expect your vehicle to get dusty. There is a creek crossing that is required to reach the campsites. We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.

There are plenty of things to do around here for kids, such as building fires and making s’mores, hiking, climbing trees, catching frogs and crawdads, fishing, and swimming. Located 5 miles outside of Eureka Springs city limits there you can find shopping, restaurants, nightlife, zip lines, mountain biking, horseback riding, and many other things. I am a stone throw away from Holiday Island city limits where you can find restaurants, golfing, walking trails, and the marina where you can rent a boat or just put yours in. There is a RV and boat storage facility on the property so if you like this area that much you can store your toys here and come back every weekend to play with them. This is a great property with beautiful views and hikes! It's a great place for trail riding if you have the proper gear.
The staff is exceptional and really accommodating. Just be patient with the county road .... a lot of the roads in the area are a little rocky and rutty. My small Mazda did just fine.

Just got back from the first trip of the year here and it was perfect as always. Tyler’s property is your own little oasis with plenty of places to explore or hang a hammock and chill. He does an amazing job keeping the site and hiking trails maintained. This was probably our 7th time out there and just the first for 2026. You won’t regret booking this place!

We had two adults and five kids, three tents. There were three camping pads, one being a platform. One was not level. The site is quiet and close to lots of things to do. You just need to know that everything you do on the site is on a slight uphill or downhill angle. We parked a car up on the hill, where the platform is located because it was easier than going up and down the hill for all the things we needed from the car.

We were the only campers for the night but it was still a nice distance from the other 2 sites even if they had been occupied. We brought our teardrop and had no issues. We also had Verizon signal in case we needed to hop back online for something. We hope to visit again!

This place was breathtaking, if you love primitive camping & ATV trails, I went camping with my dog for some peace and hiking. The place is huge, the trails aren’t really marked very well for hiking so it was a bit of a challenge finding landmarks. I would highly recommend staying here if you love the outdoors. The creek crossing to the site was a little rocky, so a good amount of ground clearance is needed. Overall we had a wonderful time enjoying this hidden corner of the Kings!

Weekend Trip to Illinois River Paradise | 60 Acres
We had an amazing experience at Hipcamp. The property is absolutely beautiful, spread across roughly 60 acres of peaceful land that truly allows you to unplug and reconnect with nature. During our stay, we didn’t see any other campsites, which made the experience feel completely private and incredibly relaxing—exactly what we were hoping for.
The setting is quiet, scenic, and thoughtfully arranged, creating a sense of seclusion that’s hard to find. Even though we were only able to stay for one day, it was clear this is a special place meant for slowing down, exploring, and enjoying uninterrupted time outdoors. Everything felt comfortable and intentional, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the surroundings.
We would absolutely recommend staying at least two days to fully soak in everything this property has to offer, as one day simply wasn’t enough. This is a wonderful spot for anyone looking for peaceful, private camping, and we would happily return.
