If you're looking to float the river, be sure to research the many springs on the way down your trip and the historic mill communities that once flourished there. These are perfect opportunities to take a break, eat a meal, and explore the area. Most also will have public bathrooms. Unless there are multiple reservations, you will be allowed to hookup/stay at whichever site is the easiest for you to get parked at. This campground is unique because it comes with private access to 1 mile of river access at Shote Hole Bluff there's a shallow gravel bar for swimming, lounging in the sun in your chair, cooking out, a boat dock, you can set up a canopy for the day and have fun in the sun in the pristine crystal clear gorgeous spring fed Current River!
The RV and camp sites have access to a potable water spigot, a porta potty all season long from May 24th through September 3rd, a sewer dump site and the RV and campsites have their own fire rings. The river is directly across the road from the campground.
This is the quietest campground that is close to the river and it is very close to Van Buren.
It is a rare luxury to have walking access to the Current River.

Very nice owner. The spots had plenty of room and were well laid out. I did have to use my mascerator pump to dump the tanks due to the sewer connection being uphill from our tank hook-ups. If your tank hook-ups were at the rear of your RV this would not be an issue but ours are forward of the axles. The park is in a good and quiet location.

I have a rooftop tent and really enjoyed this spot. I had a wonderful quiet evening. Love that there is a shower and restroom right there next to the sites. We reserved the entire Williams camp for float trip group and it worked great! Had 4 campers setup and half dozen tents. Water and electric worked great also! Floated the eleven point river with Hufstedlars outfit. They were able to pickup/dropoff at our location, which is clutch, nobody had to drive after the float. It was really nice to have a place for our group all by ourselves, very secluded but still easily accessible. Phone service was 50/50 for some of us, but personally my phone worked well the entire time while at the campsite. You are definitely in the woods, so be ready with the bug spray and tick prevention. Overall, my group of 18 had a great experience here, we would def reserve this again when we come back to the 11pt River.

Beautiful campground,from what I could tell the RV and camp spots were not super close and right on top of one another like some camp grounds, we enjoyed our stay ,staff was friendly,I would stay again and recommend it.

MY HUSBAND AND I LOVED CAMPSITE 31! IT WAS SECLUDED, SHADED, AND HAS GREAT VIEWS. YOU ARE NOT ON TOP OF YOUR NEIGHBORS. THE BATHROOMS WERE CLEAN. WE DIDN'T GET TO SWIM BUT THE POOL WAS CLEAN AND VERY INVITING. DOG FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. STAFF WAS EASILY REACHED AND NICE ABOUT ME CALLING TO GET FIREWOOD AND STAY AND EXTRA NIGHT. WE VISITED STATE PARKS CLOSE BY, THERE WERE PLENTY OF SWIMMING HOLES WE ENJOYED. THEY HAD A STORE YOU CAN CALL STAFF TO MAKE A PURCHASE, LIMITED MERCHANDISE. WE WERE ABLE TO RELAX AND ENJOY OUR TIME AND PLAN TO GO BACK AS SOON AS WE CAN!

This is a cute little spot that is secluded enough for me, but also close to gas stations, food, and grocery for emergencies. They are currently building a shower area as well! The hosts were incredible!!! They provided wood and even brought me farm fresh eggs to cook! You can take a short drive to the lake, or grab some food on nights you don’t want to cook. One of the best parts was the Wi-Fi. I’m used to not having any and get by just fine, BUT being able to cozy up in bed and pop on Netflix, YouTube, whatever you want was great! The locals are welcoming and nice as well. Overall it’s a hidden gem that I will definitely be back to visit! Thank you for a relaxing weekend!

I enjoyed it. Decent view of the river at sunset. Firewood was available. I wanted to leave a fiver but I only had ones and 20s. Nice little campground. Coyotes heard in the distance down river. It was quite nice.
