Our 11-site campground is situated on Arkansas Hwy 74E, approximately three miles east of Jasper and three miles west of the Hasty Cutoff for quick access to the Buffalo River! This is not a residential campground like so many in the area - it is exclusively for camping enthusiasts!
Being former camping enthusiasts ourselves, we built our RV park to accommodate rigs anywhere from a small popup to campers and motorhomes in excess of 40'. We also created each campsite to provide LOTS of personal space, with campsites being anywhere from 30 feet to 50 feet apart. Each site features a firepit, with small bundles of firewood available for purchase. Picnic tables are also available for your stay. We offer five campsites that are pull-through with full hookups, and six back-in sites that have water and electric only (a dump station is available for your convenience). Also featured is a BEAUTIFUL shower building; one side for the women, and one side for the men. Once you step inside and shut the door, you will have the beautifully tiled shower, toilet and lavatory to yourself until you are finished! Laundry facilities are also available on site - rather than charging exorbitant rates for using the washer and dryer like other RV parks or laundromats, we opted to make it available to our guests for a simple monetary donation. A lockbox is conveniently located in the laundry room for you to drop your donation into. Come stay with us and enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks and Buffalo River country! There is a public launch with parking just across the road for floating access. Be on the OHT via the Indian Creek spur trail in no time. Most of our campsites are just yards away from a public swimming area, which is shared between our property and the Arkansas Natural Area. You should expect local traffic at the main swimming area

We have a private swimming area on our property which is just a short hike from the developed campsites (Please ask the camphost for directions).
There are miles of county maintained bumpy dirt roads leading to the site. Expect your vehicle to get dusty. There is a creek crossing that is required to reach the campsites. We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.

This remote primitive campground is between Kingston and Compton, Arkansas. in the Ozark Mountains of the Boston plateau. The wooded 15 acres is nestled just above a scenic bluff looking south. You can set your tent on our grassy knoll or find a random spot anywhere under our hardwoods or pines. There is one designated gravel site pad for a mid size trailer.
The only roads to Spoken N’ Tru are gravel. I highly recommend taking the gravel route from Kingston. This particular gravel road is 5 miles. If you are pulling a camper this is definitely the best. There is another longer 8 mile option from 412 - south from Dryfork in between Marble and Ozark. The shortest route if from 103 but it has a deep creek crossing and don't recommended unless you have a good 4 wheel vehicle.
The best road to Ponca is County Road 1300 which takes you to Highway 43.
Please keep in mind that Spoke N’ Tru is a cozy but primitive camping site with no amenities so be ready to check your electronics before heading down our gravel roads. Lastly, please read amenity notes, especially regarding waste.

LOVED this spot. So well thought out, the location was so convenient, everything was well manicured and it was overall just really peaceful and beautiful. There was no wind like the last RV park we stayed at in Ponca and the bathrooms were really clean and spacious (although there's only one per gender!). It backs up to farm land and is separated by a barbwire fence you can hear the frog and crickets at night. We were the only trailer there during this trip which felt extra special - but site #6 has a great angle and space to it for a little extra privacy.

This was an absolute hidden gem. One of my favorite stays to date! Highly recommend this to anyone who wants an amazing getaway in the middle of the Ozarks. I stayed for a week during the month of April and the weather was fantastic. There were many hiking trails and access points to the rivers nearby. The owners of this RV park are the kindest people ever. The free to use washer and dryer units by the bathrooms were a huge plus. Would love to stay here again!

I picked this place because it was close to Jasper, which is a really cool little town, but but what I really enjoyed was to drive there and out the next day. Absolutely beautiful. I didn’t get to enjoy the camp area much because it was so cold, but I met Shane the owner and he got me hooked up with the vitals and I passed a very comfortable night. The next day, I took his advice and went into the Ozark Café for breakfast, which was delicious. I would like to come back here for a more extended recreational visit. There’s a lot to do around here.

Lovvvved this little get away. We took our rambunctious pups here and they had so much fun (they were sad to leave and made some friends while there were there!). The donkeys were so so sweet and the views were wonderful. Jill and her husband were so sweet to us and we had a great time! 10/10 would recommend!

Shane and Debra have done a fantastic job with their campground. From the immaculate bathhouses to the most level RV site I’ve ever set up on with full hookups, it was all great! The scenery was nice and we were able to relax between excursions. I highly recommend Flatwoods as a base camp for Jasper and the upper Buffalo River.

If you’re going through the Ozark National Forest make this a stop. Full
Hook ups and 100 yards off the road. Just a few minutes south of Jasper is a great trail. Then another 5 miles down the road is Kevin’s full set up. He also let me recycle what we had onboard. Thanks Again! Highly recommended!!

Everything was perfect, we met Shane and he was very kind and asked if we needed anything. The bathrooms!!!! Let me tell you about them. Amazing!!! Hot water for days and clean! Plenty of space to put your shower stuff and clothes so they do not get wet.

We enjoyed our stay at Flatwoods RV park site 4. Only 3 miles East of Jasper, easy to find and pull into , nice clean grounds, easy hookups. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and beautiful!! Our only issue were the floors. They are beautiful but very slippery when wet.
We would definitely stay there again!

This RV camp is a jewel tucked into the Arkansas mountains. It is only three miles from the town of Jasper and a nice grocery store so you don’t have to drive far for supplies. Also no long dirt road to maneuver - it’s right on a tar road that is not busy so still very quiet. The sites are spacious. There are onsite bathrooms that you wish were in your house they are so nice and so clean. There is also laundry facilities on site which is very handy. Shane and Debbie are really thoughtful people who we met and spent some time with on a couple of occasions. If you are looking for an RV camp spot near Jasper you won’t do better. I Highly recommend it.

The donkeys are very curious and seriously beg for you to pet them. The sound of the river was very soothing! We stopped by the pottery place at the beginning of the dirt road. What a gem! So much to explore! Not enough time.

Beautiful campground. The sites are nice and spacious. Beautiful trees and surroundings. It was so quiet and peaceful.
Wonderful owners. Very attentive and available if needed.
