THE 911 ADDRESS IS UMPIRE ALTHOUGH WE ARE IN LANGLEY right at the crossroads of 369 and 84! This little park is located on the site of the Langley School, closed since 1968. All that is left is an old 1950 gymnasium which has been restored and is once again a viable part of the Langley community. Our site is self-contained only! Wifi is available onsite as well! This area has cell service but some carriers are better than others. This campground is where you go to truly get away!

This is a quite spot in east texas. There’s woods on one side of us and a cattle/ quarter horse ranch on the other. We have calm red angus cattle on the property and their guard donkeys. If you’d like to feed them just let us know! You can fish near by at a public fishing spot. We will eventually be able to offer fishing on the property, we are working on stocking. If there ends up being an interest in hunting we can look into that. This is a primitive site so bring your gear! Mount Pleasant and New Boston are about 30 minutes away with restaurants and shopping.

Very private place. Nice and quiet! There are full amenities(electric, water and a dump station). Easy pull thru sites. Owners are very nice! There is an on site full size gymnasium always open! (Think basketball). You can enjoy the swimming pool and the trampoline at your pleasure. We have a 40 ft RV towing a jeep and had no issues. We enjoyed our stay!

Launa is an excellent host! If you are in the area it’s a must stay. The history of the property. Launa’s amazing pottery, her soap is top notch, homemade bread and eggs were waiting for us when we arrive and it was perfect addition for our breakfast. Our kids enjoyed playing at the property. Great location to explore the area. Totally recommend!

From the Crater of Diamonds, to Daisy State Park, to just family time at the RV park with home cooked meals and lots of play time together. Launa is an absolute gem of a host, offering fresh eggs, homemade loaves of bread (to die for), hand-made pottery, homemade soap…what an incredible destination! Three nights weren’t enough! The more time we spent the more intrigued we were! Launa was so exciting to get to know! The fresh eggs, fresh veggies from her garden, her pottery, the home made soap, the metal detecting stories, the school gymnasium, and the excitement she brought with each aspect of the above. Such a sweetheart! The campsites were plenty big enough for the kids run around meanwhile safe enough that we could all relax. We all felt welcome and cared for. Looking forward to picking up where we left off next time!!

We camped here for the 2024 total solar eclipse and enjoyed everything about it. Launa is a super nice person, attentive, fun and proactive. The space is open and surrounded by beautiful trees with some interesting local history. Electric and water at each site, and dump station on the premises. Recommended.

I loved camping at langley, launa was the best ! She brought us fresh eggs our first morning and hot freshly made bread later in the afternoon!! She was most accommodating and delightful and was very knowledgeable about the area and all the activities we were interested in. I cannot say enough about Launa! You can literally feel her passion for this place. Her roots run so deep, you can practically hear the basketball bounce and sneakers squeak on the Gymnasium floor along with the swish of the net as she tells the tales of the old school house that served as the learning place of generations of her family. Her pottery is beautiful as well! The RV park is quiet and pristine with more than enough room for our 43 foot RV. We enjoyed watching the Cardinals, rabbits, chickens and rooster each morning. Launa went out of her way to show us around and make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again when we come back through.

We had an event to attend at Bard's Springs and were worried about finding a RV spot in the area. Since almost everywhere is first come first served, it was nice to be able to book a spot with a guarantee that we had a place to camp. Langley School RV park is pretty much next door to the Langley Store. Anyone that grew up camping at Albert Pike knows the Langley Store. It is a great central location to visit Albert Pike, Bard's Springs, Shady Lake, the Winding Stairs, etc... It was a very well maintained, quiet park. They have electric, water, and a dump station. They even have a nice above ground pool. We were able to book last minute, and we arrived very late. Launa was very accommodating. As we were packing up to leave, early in the morning, we got to see a mama skunk with a little baby darting across the field. We all thought that was cool. We will definitely be back!
