The roads leading to the property from Hereford Road are dirt that are regularly maintained, but you may experience some washboard along the way depending on the season. Cochise County is dark sky country. After viewing those amazing Arizona sunsets, cast your eyes on the night sky, and see stars and the Milky Way like you've never experienced before! Experience the abundant wildlife that comes through the property. Birds, Javelina, deer, listen to the coyotes howl. It simply is magical! Bird watching: Experience hundreds of different species of birds in Cochise County (485 at last count). Lots of different hummingbirds (we're the hummingbird capital of the United States), hawks, sparrows, roadrunners, cactus wren, quail, and the list goes on. There are tons of sightseeing opportunities around us, such as Bisbee (be sure to check out Old Bisbee, and the Bisbee Breakfast Club for some amazing food), Tombstone (OK Corral puts on a very entertaining show), Cartchner Caverns State Park, Coronado National Memorial. All within a short drive from here. If you'd like to visit Mexico, you can cross at Naco (about 15 minute drive) or at Douglas (about 45 minutes) Lots of restaurants in Sierra Vista, but we recommend trying Mimosa Pizzeria, or La Sierra Steakhouse, both just a 10 minute drive down the road, along with Dollar General for your immediate needs. Weekend Trip to Mesquite Meadows

Mesquite Meadows is as beautiful as pictured! The night sky, the sunset and sunrise from this spot is breathtaking. But the sights pale in comparison to the warmth and kindness demonstrated by Attila and Heather. As this was our "first full hook up run" with our RV they were happy to offer help if any was needed which was reassuring. In addition to that you can only imagine the joy we felt when Heather provided a fresh pint of homemade vanilla ice cream "which just finished churning." Needless to say, that was the first thing on the list -- finish that ice cream! What a lovely touch! We will absolutely be returning to Mesquite Meadows and enjoy the warmth, kindness, sights and peacefulness this Hipcamp offers. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved it. The directions were very clear and the owner told us to call just to make sure we made it okay down the road! We loved being by the house pens our daughter just loved them! We would definitely stay again if in the area!

Great central location to visit the Wineries, Las Cienegas/Empire Ranch, Patagonia, Kentucky Camp etc., along with dirt roads to bike/walk. Having hook ups for my little RV was great. The owners are great - responsive and the ranch is really nice. I took a quick weekend trip down from Tucson and I did not have the hassle of hoping a FF site was available at Parker Lake or Las Cienega's.

This was an incredible find! It ended up being exactly what we were looking for. It is about a mile down a dirt road, bordering a huge tract of BLM land. We have a 44’ fifth wheel and had plenty of room. When we arrived Heather greeted us with a loaf of fresh baked sourdough bread. Attila met us and helped us get set up. The site has full hookups and is level. They were available throughout the stay and we fell in love with the fresh well water. Seriously, the flavor of the water is amazing. Their golden retriever adopted us and is so sweet. The mountains provided the perfect backdrop every night. Tombstone, Sierra Vista and Bisbee are close by. We stayed here for 2 1/2 months and loved it. Would not hesitate to come back again.

We loved our stay with Attila and Heather. They met us at the site and assisted us getting set up. Heather also had homemade sourdough bread for us. The site has full hookups and borders thousands of acres of BLM land. It was exactly what we hoped it would be, remote, gorgeous and safe. It is about one mile down a dirt road, but plenty wide enough for our big rig. We have a 44’ fifth wheel and the site was big enough for us. One of the most surprising parts of the site was the well water. We loved the flavor of the water. The hosts are amazing and generous. We really enjoyed our time with them and would love to stay here again. It was about 25 minutes to Sierra Vista, Tombstone and Bisbee.

Beautiful views and quiet, restful evening. We enjoyed a last minute stay in our roof-top tent. The other folks staying were all RVs and super friendly if we met in passing. Easy trash and water (and hookup) at each site. Portable toilet was clean. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

We really enjoyed staying here on the horse farm. We felt very at home and were told that we were free to walk the whole ranch. The horses were so nice and friendly, the site was perfect and the sunset was unbelievable! We would definitely stop back at the spot again.

Weekend Trip to Rancho del Nido RV Horse Camp

We had the most wonderful time scalping at Ranchi Del Nido. We woke up to beautiful sunrises, fell asleep to a wide open sky of stars, and enjoyed the freedom of space to bike/roam during the day. Our boys enjoyed a ride on their horse Whiskey and we enjoyed a day trip to Patagonia to see the hummingbirds and lake. We can’t wait to return! Thank you for being wonderful hosts!
