Since moving to Willcox they have cleared 50 acres and planted over 6000 grape vines with more to plant coming soon. They fell in love with the spectacular views, the wildlife and the people. With spectacular sunrises and sunsets  and clear night skies its a beautiful place to live and visit. With a working vineyard and winery you can walk from your camp and buy a bottle of wine or just enjoy a glass on the large deck located at the tasting room that over looks the grain field and silos, orchards and vineyards. There is incredible history that surrounds the area including: Cochise and Geronimo's battle grounds against the US Calvery, the Butterfield Stagecoach routes and pony express trails, The battle of the OK Coral with the Earp Brothers nearby. Birds and Barrels Vineyards is located within one of the only two American Viticulture Areas(AVA's)  in Arizona. The historic Chapel dating back to the 1890's , a Labyrinth to add to your Meditation experience, A small Tree Top house / Museum which overlooks the property and provides a very unique perspective of the property & views from a higher level.  You will also find some interesting items there as well as Miniature golf, Ping Pong,  A Pool table, Horeshoe and Croquet. You can also find a small gym.Chiricahua Nat'l Monument, Cochise Stronghold, Willcox Wine Trail, Hiking, Cycling, Horseback riding, Museums, Sightseeing, Bird Watching, Fishing & Many Vineyards  just to name a few are all in the area.- Wine tastings are offered all over this area and very popular (we're in the heart of Arizona Wine Country), Bird Watching (we're located between the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area and the Willcox Playa),  And then there is the Saloon only 2 miles away- it is an old time saloon dating back to 1800's and historic to many of some ALL time favorite Western movies - It's open to the general public on Saturday nights. I work out of town occasionaly and dont like to waste money on motel rooms. Itd great there are places like this where someone can just pitch a tent, and enjoy the quietness of the outdoors. The campsites themselves were great. A small open area surrounded by trees. There were chairs provided around campfire pits. A portapotty was provided, which is a great benefit you dont get while rustic camping. The price was unbeatable! I will definately be back to spend some more time with the awesome hosts, and the adorable animals!

We enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were great and helpful. Had all the essentials for us like water and a bathroom. We liked watching the animals and how quiet it was there. Dark skies and lots of stars. Their homemade goat soap is fantastic as well.

My stay at Maxine and Chad's Hdden Oasis was wonderful. Due to circumstances, I was upgraded to a Casita. It was so very cute, had a nice kitchen, a lovely shower, and a very comfortable bed. It was perfect for my need. The love and attention given to Hdden Oasis as a parent everywhere you look. Every detail is delightful and exudes a loving presence I hope to come back again with my husband and spend more time here. This place, surrounded by intriguing mountains, which I have no doubt are dripping with birds during spring migration, is truly a gem.

This cabin and land was exactly as described in the app. It was cozy the heater work the air conditioner worked hot water for the shower and a small refrigerator with a very very tiny freezer hot plate in microwave. Everything you need! I do intend to go back if she'll have me!

Weekend Trip to "Lil Red Camper Glamping in Style"
I had such a wonderful stay at Hidden Oasis! The hosts have put so much love and creativity into their place. All of the buildings are interesting, artsy, and sincere and exude a warm and friendly energy. The surrounding desert is lush, beautiful and teeming with wildlife. I’ve lived in Southern AZ for 35 years and still saw a few species of native plants and animals I’ve never seen before. The peace and tranquility here is superb, sitting outside enjoying the cooler weather and listening to the nature sounds was so relaxing that I slept better here than i have in weeks, and at night the sky explodes with stars, and I was lucky enough to see one streak across the sky. This is honestly one of my favorite places and I can’t wait to come back to visit the next time I’m in need of rejuvenation.

The Lazy Horse Ranch is easy to get to off of the main road. I had a great night at Lazy Horse Ranch. It was quite and comfortably. The hook ups were in working order. I even got some much needed rain. I checked out the horses, the library, there was a place to make coffee, do laundry. They had information about trails in the area. Maybe I will bring my horses out for a horsey vacation in the future. Thanks for the nice stay.

Hila and Tony’s goat ranch is a great location for exploring the area - Tombstone and Chiricahua Monument within an hours drive. They were very welcoming - we enjoyed Tony’s daily drop in chats. It was fun watching the goats, horses, chickens and dogs.
