The home was built by my parents in ‘82. My Mom was an avid hiker and outdoors person. She collected and planted agave pups in the yard and tended to them over the years. Because they’re watered and the pups are removed each spring they continue to grow to mammoth size. Once they bloom the plant dies. 3 have bloomed, producing 40’ stalks. Agave Americana. Learn more about this land: Nestled in a canyon full of giant oak trees , you’ll be amazed that you’re in southern Arizona. The dirt road is ideal for walks and bicycle rides. The property is 4 miles from the town of patagonia, just 2 miles in from highway 82. Patagonia lake state park is 9 miles away. Weekend Trip to "Lil Red Camper Glamping in Style"

My stay at Maxine and Chad's Hdden Oasis was wonderful. Due to circumstances, I was upgraded to a Casita. It was so very cute, had a nice kitchen, a lovely shower, and a very comfortable bed. It was perfect for my need. The love and attention given to Hdden Oasis as a parent everywhere you look. Every detail is delightful and exudes a loving presence I hope to come back again with my husband and spend more time here. This place, surrounded by intriguing mountains, which I have no doubt are dripping with birds during spring migration, is truly a gem.

This is a classic southwestern rustic property with original adobe, modern amenities if you enjoy a shower with a view, movie theatre popcorn, microwave, sink, loaner bikes to get into Patagonia a short distance away and much more. Most of all, the space has an easy going owner, partner and resident pup and cat. It provides for a wonderful home base from which to explore the area’s hiking, biking, water activities and birding. I’ll be back!

Weekend Trip to "Lil Red Camper Glamping in Style"

I had such a wonderful stay at Hidden Oasis! The hosts have put so much love and creativity into their place. All of the buildings are interesting, artsy, and sincere and exude a warm and friendly energy. The surrounding desert is lush, beautiful and teeming with wildlife. I’ve lived in Southern AZ for 35 years and still saw a few species of native plants and animals I’ve never seen before. The peace and tranquility here is superb, sitting outside enjoying the cooler weather and listening to the nature sounds was so relaxing that I slept better here than i have in weeks, and at night the sky explodes with stars, and I was lucky enough to see one streak across the sky. This is honestly one of my favorite places and I can’t wait to come back to visit the next time I’m in need of rejuvenation.

Weekend Trip to Thousand Oaks

The place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful! Cindy, the host is friendly and helpful, giving us directions ahead of time. We had a great time last weekend with our dogs and cat. Patagonia was 10-15 degrees cooler than Tucson but we still needed AC so the electricity was handy. The camp site was private and we felt safe even it's right by a road. The neighbors waved when he drove passed and that's really nice. The gate to the property is tight but we got in with our 22 ft truck and 22 ft trailer (I misread the instructions). So definitely follow the 34 ft total length recommendation.

We were nestled in close to the animals. We could watch the horse and goats play.

Weekend Trip to Silver Spur Homestead

They were fabulous hosts! Greeted us right as we pulled in and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved that there was heat and air, along with coffee and coffee maker! Being that we were fenced in, we could sleep good knowing no wild animals could make way to our tent. Beautiful views and everything was clean and fabulous!
