40 acres of primeval Juniper forest, with trees dated at 1200 years old, create the perfect solitude getaway. Camping here in Coconino County north of Ash Fork and Seligman, down 10 miles of isolated dirt road - this is far enough away to feel remote and surrounded by nothing but ancient trees. Yet there are many cool destinations not far away: Once you get out to the highway, Williams is 30 minutes away so you can plan you visit to the Grand Canyon or ride the Grand Canyon Railway. Another 30 minutes in that direction to reach Flagstaff with its skiing, nightlife, observatory, and eclectic culture. Continue exploring and you can visit the red rocks of Sedona, the natural caves of Peach Springs, and the crystal-blue waterfalls at Havasupai.

While you're camping, enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by meadows and ancient Juniper trees. Bring your fifth wheel, camper, toyhauler, or even your tent. Bring as many friends with you as you'd like - there's plenty of space. Sit around a campfire of sweet-smelling Juniper wood while you roast marshmallows. Depending on the time of year, hunting may be in season, with Deer and Elk. Remember that hunting is permitted if you have a valid hunting license, on the adjacent mile-wide parcel of State Trust land sprawling out to the west of the property. 

Roads are accessible most of the year with just about any kind of vehicle - as long as the weather is nice. So be sure the check the weather report or almanac before planning your visit. If the weather is dry, just about any kind of car, truck or trailer can make it down the 10-miles of dirt road to get to the property. If rain is on the calendar, you're going to need 4-wheel-drive and clearance. The dirt roads develop deep mud patches that can mire most cars or trailers. There will also be snow in the wintertime - so plan accordingly for mud, ice, and rough roads. But most of the year is easy as long as it's dry!

 The land is next to 300,000 acres of state land so plenty of hiking available as well as just walks down a dirt road that has more foot traffic than vehicles .

Highway 180 is well-paved, but once you turn onto Laguna Rd, it becomes a dirt road. The property itself is a bit bumpy, so drive slowly and carefully for a smooth trip.

Pinon Forest Camp

This dry camp boasts with over 4 Acres of Pinon trees throughout the property with beautiful views of the nearby hills.  All 4 acres fenced in for your own enjoyment and privacy.  You can walk the property and enjoy nature (please be careful while walking, we have wild cacti/succulent plants in different stages of growth).

This raw land has plenty of spots to enjoy the outdoors, make a fire (use the firepit) and stargaze at night.  

Centrally located: The camp is only 10 minutes away from town where you can visit and enjoy the unique town, shop at various souvenir shops, or have a delicious meal at one of the restaurants and bars.  Everything you need within minutes from camp.  

 A short drive to the Grand Canyon Caverns & Williams.  An hour to Kingman and Flagstaff, less than two hours to Sedona and to the Grand Canyon National Park.  

ATTENTION:  This is a quiet neighborhood with a few neighbors close by, but far enough that you can enjoy your privacy.  Please be mindful of the noise as we want our neighbors to stay happy.

The camp is about 1/2 mile from the TRAIN TRACKS and it can be noisy at night while the train goes by and about 1.5 miles from FWY 40.

Grand Sky Acres

This spacious land is over 4 acres of high desert with breathtaking 360 degree views.

Only 45 minutes from Flagstaff, 30 minutes from the historic Grand Canyon, and only 36 minutes from Williams, this property is in the middle of it all. There is so much potential for amazing adventures. 

You could go fishing in Williams or have a snowball fight in Flagstaff. If you have never seen the Grand Canyon you are in for an ultimate life changing experience.  

The dark night skies in this area may just keep you at camp. You can see every star out here and enjoy the escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. With wide open spaces you have so much room to play.

The road to the property is about 0.8 miles and is considered dirt rugged. It will require you to so down under 5 miles an hour in a few places. You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road will be difficult to navigate.

Healing Winds Route 66

 Excellent location for exploring Northern Arizona
 This is a camping area just 5 miles from restaurants, bars, quaint little tourist stores, gas stations and even a hardware store.
 Located just west of Seligman with road access directly to the property and excellent access to Interstate 40 and Route 66.
 You can rest and gather your thoughts while enjoying the great outdoors.
 You can drive right onto the property and set up your RV or your tents.
 There are no services at this site it is a dry camping area for as many days as you need.
 Whatever you pack in you must pack out. No garbage waste or pollution whatsoever.
 The meadow is full of prairie dogs so be careful driving around so you don't drive into a prairie dog hole.
 No campfires or open flames at all.
 All campers must have their own waste facility such as their own camping toilet and water source. 
 Absolutely No dumping any waste on the property.
 There's no electricity on the property so bringing your own generator is a good idea, if you need electricity.

The Ranchlands ~ Lookout View Trail

Renovations are almost complete with new camper toilets, and official outhouses, and a solar driven shower!

It is located on the high desert prairie in Northern Arizona with views of surrounding mountains.

This acreage is within the Colorado Plateau, while near the edge on the Mongolian Rim, with more than 20 acres for R & R, with lots of space between corresponding campsites.

I have 40 acres for you to enjoy! You can hike and ATV, and enjoy all that my property has to offer! You can also shoot rifles at my property! 
I recommend  any AWD, 4x4 or a crossover vehicle with a good enough ground clearance! It’s mostly a two-track dirt road to my property. There’s rough gravel when you exit the I-40.

The 40 on Rt. 66

Our location is mid-way between Ash Fork and Seligman, AZ off of Route 66. 
It is pristine juniper covered land in every direction at 5200'+ elevation with incredible Northwest Arizona mountain and valley views. If you're looking to enjoy the off-grid camping experience, come stay a night or 2 on "The 40 on Rte. 66." During new moon times, the sky is full of stars and the Milky Way is easily visible. During full moon times, the trees and ground are lit up in all directions. Sightings of deer and jackrabbits are common as well as hearing coyotes in the distance. Being open range land, the cattle will wander into sight. Various cacti and desert plants around the campsites. Nearby Route 66 attractions include Ash Fork, Seligman and Williams. Grand Canyon National Park is approx. 1.5 hours away. We are along the longest remaining un-interrupted section of Route 66.

We have several improved camp sites to make your stay easier; however, there are plenty of unmarked and unimproved areas within the Hipcamp area for you to stay. This is our land but you are welcomed to camp your way. All are welcomed. 420 friendly. Please be respectful of your fellow Hipcampers.

Camp Bighorn

We are located just off Highway 64, with easy access for anyone with a 2WD vehicle. Just a short 15-mile drive to Bearizona and the beautiful town of Williams, and only 40 miles from the Grand Canyon National Park. Explore numerous off-road trails, enjoy hiking, and catch dinner at one of the nearby fishing lakes.

Relax in the evening by the fire, stargazing, roasting marshmallows, and sharing stories from the day. BYOW (Bring Your Own Wood), and please follow local fire restrictions.

We have two beautiful campsites available for tent camping or RVs up to 30 ft. Dry camping only. The property is fully fenced, so your dogs are welcome.

Getting Here

To reach our slice of paradise, you'll travel on a dirt road for the final half-mile.

 * Driver Tip: Please drive slowly and keep an eye out for rocks to ensure a smooth arrival!

This year, we are focusing on a single, dedicated campsite to ensure our guests have plenty of space and privacy. However, we also welcome:

 * Car/Van Sleepers: Perfect for those traveling in built-out rigs or who prefer the comfort of their own vehicle.

A pretty special place to camp among the junipers and pinion pines on top of Howard Mesa. Enjoy amazing distant views by day, unbelievable night skies, and gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. You can also take in awesome views of the peaks to the east and even see the north wall of the Grand Canyon from the property.

There are currently three secluded camp spots, each hundreds of feet away from the other. No services are currently provided other than a designated stone firepit at each site, campers must bring everything they need and leave no trace. Please use the guest trash can located at the main gate. Normally accessible by any passenger vehicle, but significant rain may create enough mud to require 4WD.

The property is exceptionally quiet and clean, far away from city noise and pollution. It sits on the border of the Kaibab National Forest, where guests can walk through untouched old-growth forest. Numerous elk visit the mesa in late summer, mule deer are common, and there's lots of other wildlife to see.

This is a peaceful place to camp away from everything and still be able to visit numerous nearby attractions of every kind.

Coming soon:  each campsite is getting it's own clean outhouse and a picnic table under a ramada, plus other improvements as budget allows.

🌄 Welcome to Mont Blue  Your Off-Grid A-Frame Escape Near the Grand Canyon
This is an OFF-GRID cabin powered by solar, heated with propane, space heaters, and mini-splits. The road in is about 1 mile of bumpy dirt and rocks, so drive slow and plan to arrive before dark. Expect no street lights, but maybe a cow or elk along the way. You’ve got neighbors nearby it’s peaceful, but not isolated. Stock up on groceries before you head in.
