Bohamia - Glamp/RV/Camp

Please join us at the land of Bohamia for glamping with luxury beds and private decks, primitive camping in picturesque sites, and RV spots with power and water.

Bohamia has an upscale bathhouse with private, hot showers and individual toilet rooms with floor-to-ceiling doors. The bathhouse is within 100 yards of all glamps and RV sites.  We also have portalets stationed in the RV/Safari Tent area, at The Barn, and at the pond (0.4 miles from welcome center.)

Premium RV spots now available with 30 or 50 amp hookups and water. We do not have sewer hookups or a waste station.

Glamp, RV or camp amidst the natural beauty of our 268 acre property; we have open fields, shady spots beneath the hardwoods and pines, and even a five acre pond with plenty of fish if you’d prefer to wake up to a water view or take a morning swim.

With miles of trails on our property, easy access to the 392,000 acre Talladega National Forest, and less than ten miles from the Pinhoti trail, you’ll never run out of beautiful places to explore.  Be sure to save some time to enjoy the boulder strewn creek just a short walk from our welcome center - it’s a must see!

Other local attractions are also within reach with the Top Trails ATV park and the Talladega Marksmanship Park only seven miles away.

Upscale Bathhouse beside Glamp and RV Sites with private restrooms and endless hot showers!  Pond campsites are .4 miles away but have porta potties.

If they gave awards for bath houses this one would have a gold medal. We put a LOT of time and thought into making your experience at Bohamia special.

Cheaha Hideaway

Cheaha Hideaway LLC Campground offers beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Our 44-acre property is surrounded by towering trees. We are a small campground with views of the Cheaha Mountain. We currently have 3 glamping tent sites and an Airstream rental.  Each glamping tent has its own deck for you to enjoy the views and wildlife. Enjoy our clean climate controlled bathhouse. We are a family focused campground.

Located inside Cheaha State Park - The Highest Point in Alabama! ⛺

Surrounded by the Talladega National Forest, this foothill of the Appalachian Mountains holds the reputation of the highest point in Alabama. Standing 2,407 ft. above sea level, it is no wonder why the local Creek Indians named this place "Chaha," meaning "high place."

Come enjoy incredible views and many hikes & waterfalls in the 2,799 acre state park - including Pulpit Rock, Bald Rock, sightseeing tower, rappelling, swimming, and fishing. Waterfalls include Devil's Den Falls, Cheaha Falls, Salt Creek Falls, and more!

Cheaha is only 30 minutes away from several historic cities, including Talladega, Anniston, Oxford, Heflin, Lineville, Munford, and Ashland, which are packed with shopping, dining, cultural arts, and recreational opportunities.

Choccolocco Creek Campground

Convenient stop for the night or a few days for RV’s or Tent campers and a good place to get a hot shower -  only a easy mile a half from I-20 exit 173 ( Eastaboga - Talladega Superspeedway Exit ) also a good base camp to see Cheaha State Park - bike at Coldwater Mountain- see the Talladega Superspeedway , Combat Park Flea Market , Oxford ballgames or other area Activities - I reserve one RV site and two tent sites for hipcamp and rent the other five RV sites at the top of hill on a monthly basis - these hipcamp sites are wooded, shady with woods between the other sites to give some privacy while still not far from the unique showers made from the old chicken house feed bins -these  showers are very functional and I have been complimented that they are the best showers on the east coast

Come camp right beside Talladega Motor Speedway. We have plenty of space for you to camp for the night without having to unhook. We can accommodate big rigs! We offer large full hook up pull through sites. We accommodate up to a 75" rig! Large individual shower rooms in our shower house, laundry facility, dog parks, kids park, swimming pool and more! Argo’s Park & Trails

We are conveniently located 15 miles north of Birmingham AL and 2 miles off of Interstate 65. Our property is approx 21 acres of beautiful hardwoods and pine trees. The front 7 acres is a mixture of open and shaded areas. The back 14 acres consists of trails and roads you can explore. You won’t have any problems finding a place to hang a hammock and relax. There is always wildlife on the property. Come relax and enjoy the land for a few days or come sleep overnight in a safe environment.

Best spot for hammocks and has more privacy. 

This spot is not numbered. It is closer to the house and is where we entertain friends with larger bonfires. It has power to it and can have a water hose easily stretched to it. If you want to camp here just let me know when you book. 

Half of our property is wooded and half is opened with shade.

This is Sky. The pound gave her that name because of her blue eye. She is not blind. She'll greet you upon arrival and probably check on you throughout your stay.
