Took my six year-old granddaughter for her first camping trip here and we had so much fun! The animals were, of course, the highlight of our stay, but we also loved the accommodations and safety aspect of staying on Jannas property. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We loved tent camping at Magnolia Campground. It was the real farm experience where you can camp with cows, donkeys, goats, miniature horses, kittens, and chickens. We will be returning!!

Weekend Trip to Covenant View Camp and Retreat
Absolutely best weekend! Beautiful views. The yurt was very very spacious. Robby graciously helped us when we were underestimated the amount of firewood we would need.

Tent was all set with a queen sized airmatress and electricity for anything we needed. Wood pile with saw tight there. Clean. Nice. Great host. Right off the highway but secluded. Would stay there again.

Weekend Trip to Covenant View Camp and Retreat
Robby was extremely welcoming and helpful! Even lent us a space heater for the chilly night. It’s a beautiful property and a very easy drive into Chattanooga. Would definitely return!

We had such a relaxing time! The cabin was perfect for the 5 of us and it had all the amenities we needed. We loved the lights around the campsite, and the kids took over the loft area in the cabin! Having a nice bathroom and the kitchen area just enhanced the stay! The highlight was enjoying the sweet kitties that spent time with us! It was a perfect little getaway!

We had the best time here! 🌄 Shay and Ken were so welcoming, and my kids had a blast hanging out with their kids — it felt like one big family. Waking up to the rooster crowing was such a cool experience, and my boys loved exploring (so much to see, especially up at the top of the property 👀). We got to feed the ducks, chickens, and goats — and omg, the tacos… totally made the night 🌮💯
Also at the top of the property is more 🪦graves which made this “spooky” trip awesome for our little ones! Graves dated back to the 1800’s!!
We had such an amazing experience! Def. Will be back! 🫶

I had the absolute best time camping here with my best friend and my two-year-old daughter.
We were the only campers and were treated by the ponies and donkeys grazing in our tent pasture. The Highland cows were as cute as could be and very close by, as was a stunning, large cow.
Janna was incredibly nice. Responded fast to any message and gave us tours around the animals and to the back of her house, where the goats and pigs were staying.
We got the whole place to ourselves, but there would’ve been plenty of room if other campers were there too. Having a picnic table to use was a nice treat (and safe haven for my toddler who was scared of the dark animals). The bathroom was clean and wonderful to have close by.
My friend slept perfectly but my 2 year old and I were up late with kittens climbing over the tent. It was mostly funny since they were so cute, and I don’t expect to sleep perfectly when camping anyways. They eventually settled, on our tent, and slept directly above my friend’s head. The memory of that and stories to tell completely make up for the late night.
My daughter never quite warmed up to it, but now that we’re back home, she’s talking nonstop about the ponies and donkeys and cows and how much she loves them. Throughout our stay, she would randomly yell, “I’m having so much fun!!” Despite being stranded on the picnic table LOL.
Cannot wait to come back!!!!

Janna was super sweet and was quick to get us all set up! We tent camped but ended up in the first rv spot because it was a slow night and that space was most convenient for us. We absolutely LOVED having the donkeys, mini horses, and kittens running up to our tent and spending time with us. The kittens even slept with us because they didn’t give us a choice; It was adorable. We ended up with escaped goats running around at the end and our six year old loved the baby one. This site was super close to some amazing and inexpensive restaurants and Cloudland State Park. It’s definitely on our list to come back to!

My kiddo (12), and I had so much fun camping here! Robby was an amazing host! He provided air mattresses that he even inflated for us! The renet was in perfect condition, and very clean! It sits right on the edge of the woods, and we went to sleep listening to the frogs, and woke up to the sounds of the birds! The place is absolutely beautiful, and very well maintained! The view of the mountain is fantastic, but it wasn't quite as beautiful as the night sky full of stars! 💜

10/10 recommend! We are first time tent campers with two kids and booked this thinking it would be a good and easy intro to camping for us. It was easy to get to, the host responsive, has a bathroom within walking distance and lit up at night and easy to see with cute twinkle lights in the trees.
The best part is the animals. I didn’t realize we would literally be sleeping in the field with donkeys and miniature horses. They were absolutely adorable and the kids loved petting them. They are like big dogs lol. I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and they were all standing outside the door just waiting to be pet. On the other side behind a fence there were adorable cows and goats. We also saw two kittens, dogs and a puppy.
There was a concrete mixer Tonka truck there that my son loved playing with as well as a ton of gems and rocks under the tree with a gem identification book that my daughter loved going through to try and identify. There is also a large tree swing.
We used the fire pit to roast s’mores, they have firewood bundles right there where you can Venmo the host. We also ordered a dozen eggs from them.
We had a great experience and will definitely be back. Great family memories the kids will never forget!

A very comfortable camping set up. Quite a lot of space in the woods to ourselves and between outhouses, with a large clearing in the middle for kids to enjoy. Kitchen and dining area under the barn is very well equipped. I didn't need to bring any extra cooking or dining equipment.
Took us a little time to figure out the hot water in the shower but it does make a difference when it's on. Lots of products and some toilet paper provided. The wooden cabin was a great set up for sleeping. Very well ventilated and little fairy lights for nice ambiance. We took our air mattresses and sheets and it was like a little camp hotel. There is a road nearby but it's completely silent at night and pretty quiet during the day too. Horses on the property make great scenery. All in all clean and well maintained. Would just recommend taking a bath mat for the shower floor and tea towels for the kitchen for maximum comfort. Host was very easy to contact at any point and very helpful.
