Exactly what we needed for a brief oasis on our way to holiday chaos! The tent site was level and pretty. The toilet facility was clean and uncomplicated. Fire pit was a good size and had rocking chairs around it. Great star viewing!
Some highway noise in the distance. There’s running water, but it doesn’t seem potable; this appears to be a temporary issue.

Basically simply a large field with trees and a pond- perfect for us. Emily was delightful providing prompt and easy directions. Would love to come back again and spend some more time rather than just pass through!

The Pecan Orchard Campground was beautiful and very well maintained. There are a few solar lights to guide you at night. The outhouse is newly constructed and clean with a water hose outside. It was cool to drive through the bamboo forest and see the chickens on the way to the campsites. Farah J. gave good directions and was very gracious to share her beautiful property with us.
