Visit Gadsden (~35 minutes) to explore Noccalula Falls Park, especially beautiful with Christmas lights, or Fort Payne (~an hour) to explore Little River Canyon and Desoto Falls. It is 20.54 acres peacefully located between big land owners on each side, and a creek that runs through the middle that separates north from south pieces. Our trails are groomed and some just deer worn. We have one camp site that is rural and rustic. It has a more established flag stone fire pit. It is our original primitive sight. There is no water reservoir or possibility of electricity at “Aqua-Fine-A” campsite. Everything must be packed in and out on foot. Both sights require a hike to campsites on foot with uneven rooted trails. {You are welcome to use our well loved red wheelbarrow to haul items in}. There is access to a bigger fire pit “M & M fire pit”, and a propane grill option (this is first come first serve/sharing spot). More campsites developing over time and there is a massage practitioner on site if you are looking for the whole experience (29 years experience in healing modalities and shamanic blood line). If you are looking to experience nature cabin style then, “The Minor Escape” is for you. I stayed in the Minor Cabin, and I really can't say enough good things about it! It's located in a beautiful area, with lots of woods to explore! The cabin is furnished with everything you could want, there is even a cute kitchen when you can prepare a meal. The cabin is very spacious, extremely clean, and oh so comfortable!! The cats on property are so cute, and some even come to say hello! The bed is very comfortable, the tub is amazing, they have a nice selection of DVDs, the porch areas are so lovely! You look right into the forest from the porch! This place is so extremely peaceful! I can't wait to come back!
