Camp Travelhick is located off an easy on/off main road. A small private driveway leads to an automatic 20' wide secure, coded gate. The camp has two level camping sites. Site 1 is a large 40x62 cement site that can accommodate larger campers/motorhomes with full hookups (electric, water, & sewer). Site 2 is a smaller packed gravel site which is 16x32 with electric and water. Both sites have 50/30/amp connections. For your convenience, there is an additional dump station on the property. Our camping area offers a covered pavilion with two picnic tables, lighting, fans, and a charcoal grill. There is also has an outdoor fire pit for those cold nights or for s’mores! The camping area is about 1.3 acres fully fenced in so pet owners can allow their pets run around and have some secure space without having to worry about a leash. Bring your ATV's or side by sides! The back side of the property has almost 50 acres of ATV and walking trails. A spring fed private 1.5 acre stocked pond with a covered and lighted boat/fishing dock is also located on the property. Covered fishing dock has benches for getting out of the sun and relaxing. Property is less than 15 minutes from a Walmart, Lake Eufaula, many chain/local restaurants, parks, and museums. We loved camping at Sweetwater Daze River camp! The grounds were very well maintained and setup was a breeze. The river was beautiful, and the atmosphere was peaceful. We had a great time hanging out by the river with a nice fire and watching the stars at night. But the best was going with Jay on a river tour! He has so much local knowledge about the river and the surrounding area. The places we got to see were stunning! So be sure to ask him about his boat tour, you won’t be disappointed. This is definitely one of our favorite camp sites, we will definitely be back!

We enjoyed Travelhick. The two travel trailer sites were spaced by several hundred feet apart making them very private. The fencing that surrounds the campsites allowed kids and pets to roam freely. The property has, it seems miles of manicured trails suitable for ATV or walking activities. Also available is a shooting range and a pond creating an outdoor paradise. We plan to visit again!

Beautiful spot on the river! Semi secluded campground, peaceful river and a spring not far up it. We brought our kayaks and could have spent more time just exploring the river. We absolutely enjoyed it and plan to come back in the future. The only inconvenience was access to the river was not the easiest but sufficient. We had a few friendly pups come by every day to check on us and make sure we didn’t leave any food out. All in all it was a delightful spot and I hope it doesn’t get too much attention because I want it to be available wherever I get the chance to come back!

We loved the large, fully fenced area. It makes for a wonderful space to let kids and pets play safely. The trail network throughout the property is extensive. The pond is quite large and has a nice covered dock area to fish from or just hang out. My son and I enjoyed taking the boat out on the water and did some fishing.

This campsite is well maintained and beautiful! The host is excellent and the area is very low key. The river level was low, due to the beautiful sunny weather lately, and this makes everything in nature that much more scenic. There is something healing about being outside as the sun comes up and again as the sun goes down, overlooking the water.

We had a wonderful 2nd visit to David’s property. Land is well maintained, so many extras & beautiful slice of relaxation! David has truly thought of everything! From the gazebo area with lights, fans, water & bug zapper to the pond and range everything is meticulously cared for and prepared! The fenced in area is huge and our dogs love it, the trails are clear and beautiful and it’s so peaceful!
