Solomon's Garden is a 5 acre homestead located in the Black Warrior River valley. Our site is currently under land work construction, as we are recovering from the pine beetle disaster that has ravaged Alabama. This campground offers a rare glimpse into the past, with artifacts dating back over 2000 years found in the surrounding area, although access to the mounds themselves is restricted. Conveniently located just 5 miles from Mississippi State University in Starkville, Indian Mound Campground is also a short 15-minute drive from the Noxubee Wildlife Refuge and 20 minutes from the scenic Tenn-Tom Waterway and the vibrant city of Columbus. For golf enthusiasts, there are nine golf courses within a 30-minute radius, providing ample opportunities for a day on the greens. Outdoor activities abound at the campground, where you can enjoy catch-and-release fishing in the tranquil pond or explore six nearby lakes spanning over 500 acres, all within a 15-minute drive. For those seeking adventure, Tibbee Creek and the renowned fishing and wakeboarding opportunities on the Tombigbee River are just 20 minutes away.
