The 250 acre lake is stocked with largemouth bass, bream, catfish, and crappie, so anglers are sure to reel in a nice-sized catch. Your glamping tent sits on a lake front site where you can fish or launch a kayak directly from your campsite. The day use area has a swimming beach, boat rentals, playground, and a small convenience store. The park features more than 23 miles of multi-use trails that hug the shoreline of Lake Lurleen and are open to both hikers and mountain bikers. We are just 12 miles from Bryant-Denny Stadium and the University of Alabama. Our 16x20 Double Safari tent comes furnished with 2 Queen Beds. Our super soft linens and memory foam mattresses will ensure you sleep in complete comfort! Brew your coffee at the push of a button with our Keurig Coffee maker and enjoy the convenience of a mini fridge and freezer in every tent. Four K-cups and two coffee mugs are provided. Rugs, lamps, essential oil diffusers, and other home decor are the special touches that make you feel right at home. We have plenty of electrical outlets to charge your devices. Indoor Ceiling Fan, Residential A/C and Heating Unit are provided. Please note that the tents are not insulated or completely sealed, so it is impossible to completely control the temperature inside the tents. However, the unit makes it significantly more comfortable to glamp in any season. We loved our glamping experience 99% which is why I still gave it five stars. It’s beautiful, clean, and the amenities were above and beyond. The 1% that was unexpected was our site was literally next to the bathroom, so it is very well lit at night (which is great, unless you want it dark) and you will hear every toilet flush and bathroom door close. We would stay again because of how lovely it was, but I would choose a tent further away from the bathrooms. But, for some, that might be a plus to be right next to the facilities. We hiked, swam, canoed, fished, and lazed about in the provided hammock swings. The tents are pretty close together, but it still feels private. We loved it and were so thankful for the getaway. I hope to visit again.
