Description

Who needs a tent when you can rent a cabin? With one queen-size bed and three twin-size bunks, each of eight cabins at Sylvan Lake State Park can sleep up to six guests. The three-bedroom cabin number one can accommodate up to 12. While electricity has yet to be patched into these 260-square-foot log cabins, they are equipped with heat and minimal solar-powered lighting. For a nominal fee, pets are allowed in cabins two and eight. Be sure to bring bedding, food, and a lantern or flashlight. And for those staying in cabins two through nine, you’ll want to bring cooking utensils and a stove.

Cabin #9 has the best view of all the cabins in my opinion. Cabin #6 was tucked away a bit. Both got lots of afternoon sun/glare in June. Sometimes, staff lends fishing poles and bug expeditions. Check with the office when you check in for the schedule.
