We have a 100+ acre working ranch with access to the Arkansas river for fishing, kayaking or just dipping your feet in. We have great views of the Collegiate Peaks 14ers and the Harvard trail is just up the hill. Frenchman's creek runs through the ranch which has hay fields, aspens, cottonwoods, pinons, cows, chickens, sheep and pigs. Deer, elk, coyotes and bobcats also wander through. We are 15 minutes from BV, 10 minutes from Clear Creek Reservoir, 20 minutes from Twin Lakes and 30 minutes from Leadville.

We purchased this land as a campsite for family outings. We have 2 kids and 2 dogs that love running through the aspens, cedars, and pines. There are 2 stocked fishing ponds in the neighborhood you're welcome to use. (Stocked in June usually). Fire pit onsite as long asthe county doesn't have any fire restrictions. You're welcome to drive onto the property to unload your camp gear but please park on the cul-de-sac. Enjoy!

Our 220 acre historical ranch has been in the family for over 100 years. The property was once a gold mine stop for the Denver South Park and Pacific Railroad and we are still able to enjoy the train depot and telegraph house from the early 1900’s when the train was running through the Quartz Creek Valley. We are also blessed with some of the oldest, largest Pine Trees in the Valley thanks to them being on protected railroad property when logging was prevalent. Come enjoy over 2 miles of private prime fly fishing on the Gunnison headwaters of Gold and Quartz Creek as well as 3 different well stocked lakes. Take a stroll, run or bike along the private 2 mile walking loop along Quartz Creek. Keep an eye out for the resident Geese, Blue Heron, ducks and other birds who reside here on the islands. If hiking is your thing-enjoy the Willow Creek Hike that cuts through the property, among other scenic trails in the area. Choose from 4 different lake & creek-side campsites and come relax on our private slice of heaven!

We camped at a spot right by the bathroom. I went with my parents, sister, aunt, uncle, and my 3 year old daughter. The couple who runs the property had wood for sale on site. They did great! In the 3 days we were there they serviced the bathroom multiple times. Unfortunately, someone tagged the bathroom while we were there(wtf guys) and they had to shut down for a few hours to clean it up. They were on it right away though. They came through to tell us goodbye while we packed up. We did walk through the other sites and down to the river, very beautiful property. Lake and fishing areas were only 15 minutes away! I will be bringing my hubby and kids later this year so my little family can experience it. We had 1 popup, 3 tents, 3 cars.

Our family (two adults, three kids under 11 yrs old) just spent seven nights at Parry Creek Campground above Twin Lakes and had an incredible experience. We camped at site #20. The great: Location next to mountain stream and with several trails was amazing. Site #20 and others have primitive tent locations that make for a great experience. We were in an aspen grove. Sites 20, 23-26 looked like the best spots. Camp hosts were super friendly and did a great job providing info. Fire wood was for sale on site as well. The good: The bathrooms smelled like spruce trees. The bad: Potable water wasn't available but we were able to access water at Twin Peaks about a half mile away. Provided tent pad was small. Monsoon season.

This campground was nice-we liked the sites that were tucked further in over the bridge, but they were all taken. Our site was fine, but it was RIGHT by the road and the traffic and headlights at night wasn't our favorite. We checked out some spots that were for dispersed camping up on the hill just as you turned in to clear lakes, and next time we'll go there. If you can get a site at this campground, definitely try for one right by the river that's set back in the trees. The whole area is beautiful though! Vault toilets and water made this place an easy camping experience, and fires were allowed.

Cute small campgound. Easy access to river, Twin Lakes and Mt. Elbert. Back sites best for long camping weekends. Have nice vault toilets, drinking water and easy access. Nice spot for quick trips.
