Mount Rose Campground is highly recommended, as its light usage does not reflect the amount of activities available nearby nor the beauty. This campground is located at 9,300 ft amongst an open conifer forest, looking over none other than gorgeous Lake Tahoe just nine miles west. With great hiking, fishing, and mountain biking places nearby, as well as potable water and a flush toilet, this is a great campground to visit during your stay. Mt. Rose campground was recently renovated, so get out there and happy camping!
