RV/Camper Site Near WG Racetrack

We loved staying here! Great attention to detail at the campsite. Jody and Kari are very nice and helpful! Great access to the trails at Watkins Glen State Park. We will definitely return and highly recommend this campsite!!

Owners were very nice. Very helpful with finding trails near for us to hike with our toddler. They have wood with a donation box that was easy to access. If you like nature it’s a good launch spot for waterfalls hikes and viewing. Some long. Some short. Our dogs had a good time too. Big thanks to Kari and Jodi

The lot was very well maintained with full hookups. Jody and his wife Kari are very hospitable with letting us know all of the things to do in the area as well as any questions we had. Just fit our truck bed and tow behind in one lot which was perfect. Not a far drive to the amazing seems of the finger lakes!

Great place to stay! It was very peaceful. We enjoyed the flat parking space and convience. Jody and Kari were amazing hosts! We made a lot of great memories as a family! Highly recommend.

This was a beautiful place just minutes from downtown Watkins Glen. We were greeted kindly and were able to talk about area attractions. The site was leaf blown and clean upon arrival which is hard to do in early November with all the leaves. We will certainly recommend and return.

Amazing stay, perfect location! Hosts were awesome and super helpful. They made sure our stay was enjoyable and even carried us over some fresh wood to burn. Couldn't recommend this camp more! 👍

We had such a wonderful Camp, the property was so peaceful, beautiful, and easy to pull in our camper, we had to stay a second night it was so perfect. Our Hosts were very friendly. Perfect spot to visit Watkins State Park, it was right down the road.

Great directions…easily found the site!! Each site was spacious with lots of room between each. Very close to the village of Watkins Glen, easy access to Watkins Glen Intl racetrack. One of the best we’ve been to!

The campsites are beautiful and very spacious with new picnic tables and full hookups. Our stay was on site 3. The hosts are the best. They're very friendly, prompt, and informative. Met with Jody and had a great conversation with him. He provided a lot of information about the area, including some interesting history of Watkins Glen. Highly recommended and will definitely return.

Watkin’s Glen area is so beautiful! Kari & Jody were excellent hosts. Site 1 was large and level. We had a fire pit and two Adirondack chairs. There was not a picnic table but they let us use a table they had. Hosts provided recommendations for activities and dining. The area is so quiet and peaceful. Definitely will be a return customer.

So Relaxing!!!

We just spent 8 days on Kari and Jody’s land and we had a wonderful time! There are only 3 campsites on the property so it was very private. The hook ups worked out great! We had everything we needed so our time there was extremely relaxing. There was even firewood available for our use. Ahead of time Kari sent perfect directions with a second option for getting to her land in case our RV was going to be taller than one of the near by bridges. She gave options for local area restaurants and places of interest. We would highly recommend staying on their property! Thank you so much Kari & Jody!!

Watkins Glen, close to everything!

Beautiful site with brand new hook-ups. It was close to everything, but still private. I would recommend sites 2 and 3. We loved the cows. Kari gave us lots of good recommendations, which we took. Overall, a very nice experience!

Very peaceful and secluded. Yes, it is next to a pole barn, I never once felt it wasn’t private. Very close to Watkins Glen raceway, and many local hiking trails. Ample space between sites on their land.

We absolutely loved our time at this location! Beautiful camp site, very accessible and also private. The site was clean, flat and had a perfect morning view with the sun coming through the trees. The location is ideal for a day at the Glen then to hit up some wineries. The owners were so kind, very knowledgeable about the area and available if anything was needed during our stay. Will definitely book again !!!

This is a great spot to camp near Watkins Glen state park and in close proximity to Watkins Glen Speedway. Full hookups, level gravel sites, picnic table and fire ring in a wooded setting. There is also firewood available on site. The hosts are excellent and offer great advice on things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very inviting hip camp site. Water and electric are easily available and, with only 3 sites, provides sufficient separation for comfortable seclusion. It offers an easy access into town (Watkin's Glen), the Finger Lake's wineries/breweries and local events and, then, escape back to a tranquil campfire.; fire wood is available, as well Although it was a 5 hr. drive for us, I could foresee a return.

Camping gem in the Fingerlakes

This site was amazing! Spacious, clean, private, and level. Hookups were great and easy to access. Really friendly and helpful hosts! Super close to some of our favorite wineries and downtown Watkins Glen so it was really easy to run and grab anything we need or a bite to eat. This was definitely a great spot that we will be sure to visit again!

Kari and Jody were very easy to communicate with. The site is clean, level and peaceful. It’s just 10 minutes to Watkins Glen SP entrance and downtown Watkins Glen. Kari had great suggestions about wineries, restaurants and other attractions.

This was a perfect spot for serenity and relaxation! It was our first camping experience and I think it will be tough to beat. The bar has been set very high. Our site was extremely clean and cared for. The owners are very responsive and informative. We will be visiting again!

Minutes from Watkins Glen

This was our first time using HipCamp, but we really had a great experience! The site was perfect. Very large, very clean space with a lot of privacy. Jody and Kari were great hosts, offering us plenty of suggestions on local attractions and places to visit. The main entrance to Watkins Glen State Park is really close by, but you can actually hike from the camp to one of the trail heads near the Upper Entrance to the Park. We would definitely recommend this site to everyone we know!!
