Spacious Skies Country Oaks rests within the countryside of the Pine Barrens region of southern New Jersey, just an hour from Philadelphia and Wilmington, DE, and only 30 miles from the Atlantic City boardwalk. If you are looking for southern New Jersey’s best campsites you have found them! Find peace at our campground in New Jersey which is due south of the Wharton State Forest and surrounded by other wildlife management areas that dot the protected ecoregion. We offer back-in and pull-through RV sites that can accommodate all sized RVs and trailers! Each RV site includes a picnic table, fire ring, 30 or 50-amp electrical service, and sewer. We have deluxe patio sites and some rustic cabins too! Friendly people are waiting by the phone to tell you about our amazing activities, and an atmosphere that all campers will take to heart. Delightfully, Country Oaks campground happens to be surrounded by a number of designated wildlife management areas (WMAs)–Tuckahoe, Maple Lake, and Menantico Ponds to name a few! These areas are popular for hiking/walking, fishing, kayaking, and birding opportunities abound! Our nation’s bird, the bald eagle, is no stranger to this region, along with lots of other species for your bird-watching journal. The Warren E. Fox Nature Center is the headquarters for environmental education within the Atlantic County park system, with fun displays and trials for the whole family. Inland nature aside, Atlantic City and Ocean City beaches and boardwalks are 30-40 minutes away!

Great campground and friendly tenants. We weren’t there for the amenities such as an arcade and swimming pool. The owner is very friendly and runs a nice place to stay for a few days. We will definitely recommend and return ourselves. My only wish is that the cabins were a little bigger. Since this was the first time my wife went camping we left late the second night rather than stay til morning. Our dog, not a people/animal dog, was a bit of a pain too.

Instead of Spacious Skies it should be Spacious Sites. We were impressed with the size and tranquility. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. We were in need of a dog bone for the electric and the office quickly furnished us a loaner. Thank you for going above and beyond.. We highly recommend this location

I had one of the 2 tent only sites. Close to the showers. The facility is clean and appears to have a lot going for it, especially if you have kids. The pool would have been inviting except for the temps being in the 60’s and having a bit of rain. Dawn, the Owner was great. Even offered to come down to the camp store after it was closed of if I needed anything, like ice cream.

We had a nice stay! The staff was kind. It can be a bit loud at times because kids are running all over the campground but it is family friendly. We appreciated that it was dog friendly as well and not a far drive to Longport Dog beach!

This was a great value with activities for kids. The spaces were close together with very little privacy and you can hear the main road from the site. I would use this site as a home base rather than a location to stay and enjoy nature/relax.

Fantastic campground with outstanding staff! Helpful, friendly & and there great activities planned for the regular campers. What really stood out was their constant communication with all campers. I.e. we were out sightseeing & I received several texts regarding bad weather from them. During our brief stay, we were able to visit in the office & ask about location recommendations & the staff were easy going & enjoyable to visit with. The campground has nice yards with many seasonal campers on the property. The sites offer FHU. If we have the opportunity to return to this area, I would definitely request to stay again.

Nice little cabin for a weekend trip. Has a nice porch and all the basic amenities you need. The campground itself is on the small side but still has a few fun things to do. We liked the jumping pillow and bought a few bags of gems/fossils to sift through.

Overall, we really liked this place. The lady who checked us in was absolutely lovely, and moved us to a site closer to the bathhouse without us even asking! The campground itself is very nice, with a lot of activities going on and available for use. The laundry was handy, with two washers and two dryers, payable using a card. Super convenient. The only drawback were the bathrooms. We were there for two nights, and the bathrooms weren’t cleaned at all the entire time we were there. The showers were questionable, and overall just a bit yucky. One had no shower head at all. The one that seemed to work the best had muddy footprints in the shower, going out of the shower room and all the way across the bathroom floor - and it stayed that way both days we were there. If the restrooms were updated this place would have received a perfect rating.

Staff were so friendly as were everyone i interacted with during my stay. Pool was beautiful, bathrooms are clean, the snack shack was awesome and had GREAT prices, and the events - everyone gets relate into them. Site itself was clean and had no issues at all!
