Best Campground in south Jersey!

This is our third visit to this site, and it continues to be simply amazing. We always stay at Site 1, where we’re able to set up right on the lakeside with an incredible, wide-open view of the water. The property is consistently quiet, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. We had no issues with ticks during our stay, and taking the canoe out on the lake is always a highlight. We even caught a few sightings of wild turkeys, which made the experience even better. It’s a fantastic site for both large gatherings and smaller, more intimate groups. The available porta-john is clean and well maintained, which is always a plus when camping. Easily one of the best campgrounds in this part of the country, it offers the perfect balance of comfort and nature. Cell reception is also decent, allowing you to stay connected if needed without taking away from the outdoor experience.

I stayed at campsite #1 a few years ago and decided to come back this past weekend with some friends who were brand new to camping. The site sits right by the dock near the pond — it’s currently being worked on, so there wasn’t much water this time. But that didn’t stop us from having a good time. The space was perfect for our big group of 13! It’s quiet, roomy, and far enough from the other sites that you get plenty of privacy. Getting in touch with Timothy, the owner, was super easy. He responded quickly to messages and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, which made the whole experience even better. Since it’s pet-friendly, I even brought my kitten along, and he had a blast exploring the outdoors. Overall, it was an awesome weekend, and I’d totally recommend campsite #1 to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing getaway with friends or family.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Tim’s property. Each time was very enjoyable, peaceful and you had plenty of space to run around. There is a lake there that you can’t go fishing, but unfortunately, this time I was in the dry season. This place is very well kept And enjoyable.

Couldn’t ask for a better campsite!

The site was a wee bit hard to find at first, but Timothy didn’t even let the phone ring twice before he picked up and gave us great directions for how to find the place! The camp sites are spacious, private, and quiet. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful night with our dog beneath the stars, the site was hardly buggy or humid, and we were able to get a roaring fire going :) There is a Tractor Supply Co right down the road that is perfect for buying wood, starters, etc.. Really smooth sailing!

Strict Refund Policy!

This is a nice spot. I’ve been here a few times. The sites are a good size and are pretty private. Price per night is high though and the VERY strict refund policy doesn’t help that. I’ve lost a few trips to weather and the host wasn’t willing to work with me.

Nice, spacious private spot, lake is a big plus, trees give you good cover for your tents. Well maintained too. Port-a-potty within walking distance was huge. Might run it back!

Great campsite - site 3

Site 3 was great, being surrounded by all the tree and plant life. There were only two of us, so we had plenty of room on the spacious site. The lake was a 3-4 minute walk down the road or a quick drive. We tried out the canoe and sat on the dock enjoying the beautiful scenery. Our host, Timothy, was very nice, engaging, and had a wealth of knowledge about his special property. There was a noticeable amount of little pieces of glass, but it wasn't problematic at all, just curious. My partner and I truly enjoyed this campsite!!

Camping for birthday weekend

I’ve been here twice and it’s definitely a great space to camp and I always enjoy myself. This time there were like dirt bikes for a little while but eventually we didn’t have to hear anything after a couple hours.

It is a beautiful place, but it’s an absolute Mecca for ticks, I’ve been camping all my life and I’ve never seen it this bad. My brother got over a dozen, his girlfriend got 10 his son got 6 and there were many other people who also got at least one out two including myself but they got it the worst. We ended up leaving early just because it was so out of control. Normally don’t like leaving bad reviews but if you have small children especially as I do, might want to tread lightly

GREAT EXCEPT THE TICKS

This place was amazing in every way except 1. The grounds themselves were perfect. They’re even more beautiful than in the photos. There’s plenty of space between the three sites. We were unable to hear anything from the other sites even with the music turned all the way up. The porta potty was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. All of the picnic tables, grill tops, the canoe, swing- were in great condition. THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE TICKS. We arrived the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. And had rented the place through Monday. But all of us left Sunday morning. I personally found 23 ticks on myself. All but two were deer ticks. I found 17 on my son. I am currently writing this on Monday evening. A couple of the bites have shown the large circular swelling marks associated with Lymes disease. I saw a doctor today and was prescribed Doxycycline

BEST Hipcamp in NJ! Honestly one of the best camping sites I’ve ever stayed at, private or public. This land is beautifully kept. The pond is huge and the creek behind site two is one of the prettiest I’ve seen. The property & site are easy to find. The area is very private & the hosts respect your privacy but respond fast. There is cell service which was a bonus for me while camping alone. There was a picnic table, fire ring with cooking griddle, porta potty, tree swing, pond dock & huge canoe provided. Felt remote once on site but there is a wawa fifteen minutes away need be :) 10/10 a perfect time!

Site was private and porta potty was well maintained, but our site was covered in broken glass beer bottles. Host did not supply a full address, directions on how to access the site, or an update about the lack of firewood (which the listing says is available for purchase) until after we arrived and requested said information. Overall we had a nice time, but I probably will not return.
