Robin's Nest: Airstream & Farm
So much fun!
The farm experience and Airstream made this a great first Hipcamp for our family of four humans and one dog. Kids are 7 and 5. We all loved interacting w the animals up close, helping our awesome host Kimber feed them and learning their stories. We hot tubbed, tent camped, spent the night in the roomy sleeping areas of the Airstream on the rainy night, Netflixed, played tetherball, saved our food scraps for the piggies, climbed rocks, painted rocks and roasted marshmallows. We even popped into town for a great lunch at Marinade on Main (dog-friendly patio). Lots to do and explore.

Lovely Family Friendly Stay!
What a lovely stay we had. Kimber was very hospitable and my young sons loved the feed experience. We drove down to the safari park one day which I highly recommend and it was only about 25 mins to Kimber’s. Lots of hiking and wineries in the area. We used the water and electric hook ups for our trailer with no issues. Hope to make it back again.

We stayed in our 28ft motorhome. We had a semi-private area to park around the corner with a picnic table, water hookup and 110 volt power. (PS. This might not be enough to power your AC unit, as with ours.) There was an outdoor shower we used, a telescope for the starry nights, and a horse riding school next door to watch. Lots of land for us and our cat to explore!
Kimber was so communicative and friendly, and very knowledgeable about her animals. Arriving was super easy and our stay was very comfortable because she checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.
Our favorite part was feeding and interacting with the alpacas and other animals! If you stay here, make sure you schedule a time in for that.

Airstream and alpacas!
We took our 2 year old camping for the first time and the experience was absolutely lovely. Being able to be in a peaceful, outdoor retreat was already a plus. What added a special touch was having Kimber walk our son through feeding the animals in such a kind and patient way and also educating us on the animals and what it takes to maintain the property. It gave me a huge appreciation for the entire experience she was able to curate for us. She’s building something very special.

Potbelly pigs!!
We had such a great time at Kimber’s place!! Kimber was so incredibly accommodating to us and would always quickly get back to me. I had to film a testimonial for a new grill and she was totally amazing with helping with that.
The farm is so fun and I loved seeing the pigs. Very quiet and peaceful spot. Can’t wait to go back!

A lovely evening!
Kimber was on-site and helpful to offer some various parking options when we arrived. We were the only ones staying this particular night. We enjoyed a comfy swing and table in the shade, as well as, a jacuzzi tub in the cooler part of the evening.

Robin's Nest: Airstream & Farm
We really had a great time at Robin's Nest. The host is really nice and made sure our stay was comfortable. The airstream is so cute and clean. We rented extra space for tent camping and kids love it! The hammock is so nice and my daughter never get tired of playing and swinging. The spa is a great addition and we really had so much fun using it. We slept comfortably in the bed me husband and little daughter the size is just perfect for us.there is also tv in the room and we watched netflix. We had bonfire at night and enjoyed making smores. The solar light sorrounding the airstream is so nice for ambiance , it's perfect while just sitting and relaxing in the outdoor dining table. Overall we love our stay. Don't hesitate to book.once in a lifetime experience to relax and to get away from busy city life

Glamping in the 50's
When I tell you that this glamping experience is so much more than a stay, it is an understatement! Kimber’s estate is located in a beautiful pocket of Ramona, Ca! It is a gem and so much to enjoy on her site, as add-ons kids get to help feed her farm animals, paint rocks, and ride in a 1950’s fully restored Chevy. The surrounding area is a dream the local public golf course has an onsite Bar & Grill with beautiful views, and the Farm Stand 67 right across her property is a MUST SEE! The vintage trailers are well kept and such a great backdrop to live your 1950’ camping dream experience. We will be back! Thanks again Kimber for a lovely mother’s day weekend.

Peace, quiet, & 3 Little Pigs!
Robin's nest was the most delightful little haven! We were so enchanted by the views and the animals! We felt like we had stumbled upon a magical little fairyland with mysterious rock formations, shady trees and lots of peace and quiet. (there are some small aircraft nearby but they seemed to only fly midday.) easy to access - good flat for your rig with hook ups and adapters -- and just a few minutes to stores and restaurants even though it feels far from the hustle and bustle. Our friend traveling with us was planning to get a hotel, but kimber offered her an adorable vintage trailer for the night at a great price, so we were all able to relax and enjoy the beautiful May evening together, under the trees. Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer, but I'll try here first next time I'm in San Diego area. HiGHLY recommend!

Best stay ever
This was one of the coolest Hipcamp I’ve ever been too. Kimber has thought of absolutely everything! There’s all the utensils, cooking stuff, games, speaker, you can even watch Netflix on the tv in the bedroom! We loved hanging out with the 3 pot belly pigs she has and playing horseshoes. Got an epic sunset from the property and made a fire. Did a cool hike the next day and hit the wineries. It’s in the perfect location as well if you want to go hike Potato Chip Rock. The bed was so comfy and we didn’t want to leave!

Family Fun!
We loved our stay at Robin’s Nest Ranch! The trailer is so cute and full of everything we needed for cooking and having a comfortable stay. The memory foam mattress is nicer than my bed at home!!! My boys (5 & 2.5) got to ride around with Kimber in her golf cart and feed the animals - pigs, horses and donkey! They loved exploring and riding around on bikes while we made dinner. The ranch is fenced in from the road so it was fun and safe to let them roam a little bit. The fire pit under the lights was the perfect way to end the night. We will be back! :)
