Waunbayvil wild camping. A teeny pop up campsite for private groups. Come alone or bring friends and family. Just 10 mins drive from the sea at Ceibwr on the Pembrokeshire coast. The space Waunbayvil camping is set in its own secluded spot on 40 acres of private wildland and woodlands in the Pembrokeshire national Park, with a pond and views of the stunning landscape. It is the perfect getaway, a place to re-connect with nature and your loved ones in the most peaceful place away from it all. This is not a big campsite with lots of other people, you can book one of 3 seperate fields for a private group, or otherwise, only 2 or 3 families very spread out at a time. The pitches are set out with plenty of space in between. There is parking for cars or campervans with nothing but nature all around you. We also have a small hard standing area for campervan. There is a shared compost loo, a washing up area, and an off grid shower shack. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings, teaming with wild life and filled with wild orchids and many different species of grasses and wildflowers. It is unique and a treat for people who love natural habitat. The sea is about two miles away where there are spectacular cliff walks for many miles on the Pembrokeshire coast path, and beautiful beaches for swimming. Bring logs and kindling with you. (Can be bought from any garage) If you bring a cool box we can top you up with frozen ice packs. Just ask. NO LOUD PARTIES Guest access Acres of land and woodland, compost loo, shower hut, pond. Other things to note 40 acres of meadows, wildlife habitat and woods which guests are welcome to roam. You can walk down the track and visit the artists gallery and shop in the big blue barn. This camping space is definitely one we will be coming back to. The surroundings are beautiful and we were able to see some awesome wildlife: birds of prey, bats, cows and a very friendly horse named George. George is a fantastic camping neighbour. The owner has recently installed some great sawdust/compost toilets. David was very friendly when we met, very hospitable and took the time to clear the land and facilities.

Brilliant spot for those who want to enjoy nature, have a little fire and feel totally removed from the hustle and bustle of life (while only being a 3.5 mile river-side walk from Brecon town centre). Compost toilets were spotless. Rest of the campers were nice and spread out. Plenty of wildlife and birds around. Just a really lovely spot. Great to have stayed at such a great price. Will definitely be rebooking.

Second stay at David's site and it definitely felt like home. Left a day early because we never predicted how cold it actually gets and the kids in our group as well as a couple adults were feeling the effects. If you do see a temperature at night thats low, do pack for it. Sleeping in layers may be a help

The fields are huge and the views are great. Atmosphere was relaxed and easy. Families seemed as happy as couples and single travellers. Lovely clean shower, toilet and washing up facilities - made with love! Just be prepared for strong winds and a field that is mostly not level. I very much enjoyed my stay!

Fantastic, clean facilities with plenty of space and no queues. The South West Coast Path is right at the gate for beautiful walks, and I’d recommend pitching in the second field to benefit from both the sea views and plenty of space for your dog to play. Saturday, Mexican street food on site was fresh, delicious and great value, plus the picturesque pub nearby is dog friendly with a large beer garden. Lots of campfires dotted around the site as the sun set over the sea with scenery all around made it feel really special. Already missing it! ❤️

This is a lovely site- really peaceful, beautifully set out and organised and ideal for those who want to go nearly off grid i.e. there is fridge space and somewhere to charge a phone. The compost loos are amazing - well kept and much pleasanter than many conventional loos on campsites. The only disturbances I encountered were persistently drumming woodpeckers and clumsy squirrels crashing around in the trees! As a base for walking and cycling it was ideal.
