Weekend Trip to The Peacock Shepherds Hut
The hut was lovely and had everything that we need for weekend getaway. The land was so peaceful and there were alpacas nearby. We arrived late a night and took the wrong turn at first but once we got on the right path it was easy to find. Would recommend if you're looking for quiet time off.

What a gorgeous place! The perfect place for a calm refuge to reset and re-enter life restored.
Lovely kind hosts, beautiful views and walks straight from the roundhouse enjoyed by us and our cat Blue. Absolutely magical.

The Peacock Shepherds Hut was amazing. The views are incredible and the hut was really comfortable and well thought out from the lovely Peacock details to underfloor heating. The facilities provided everything I needed to enjoy a peaceful break. Fantastic place to relax and reset listening to birds and enjoying the roaming peacocks and wandering down to see the Alpacas. Carol makes you feel so welcome. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends.

I loved the Boy John. There was so much attention to detail in everything on board. Very comfortable bed and plenty of lighting. Also clear instructions around the site, regarding water, showers, toilets etc. All facilities very clean. Nothing compares to having your own little bit of coastline !!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was set up and ready for us when we arrived, which made settling in so easy. The hammocks were such a relaxing touch, and having water and a fire kit provided really showed the thoughtfulness that went into the experience. The host was lovely—friendly but gave us complete space—so it truly felt like being out in the woods, surrounded only by the sounds of nature. It was peaceful, refreshing, and exactly what we were hoping for. We can’t wait to come back!

The whole place is idyllic and couldn’t be a better intro to wild hammock camping… No signal but you’ll find connection with nature and wildlife much more rewarding!

We had an excellent stay at the round house. The location is incredibly serene with gorgeous views. The building is beautiful and has been furnished with great attention to detail. The bed is really cosy, the hot shower is great and the cooking area is well equipped. Meg and Benjamin were very attentive hosts and we would warmly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful location, really lovely little barn with all basic amenities. Only issue is it was a bit hard to find at first, though John was always happy to help with any queries we had. We were a little surprised to see it wasn’t as private as we expected - the barn is attached to the owner’s house and has family members regularly walking by. Absolutely fine of course, just would have been nice to know (particularly as there’s a window that looks right in to the bathroom!)
Overall we had a wonderful stay, and have absolutely fallen in love with North Wales.
