Farm glamping near Broadway guide

Where to go

Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Discover 164 kilometres of the Cotswold Escarpment with a walk along Cotswold Way. Hike past historic sites in Cotswolds AONB, including Hailes Abbey and the Roman Baths in Bath. Ramble through small villages and rolling countryside, then extend the visit with a stay in a grassy tent pitch or cosy glamping tent on private lands within the area.

Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Park the caravan in a private field site or pitch a tent on a family-run farm for an overnight retreat in nature at Malvern Hills AONB. History-lovers can visit one of England’s oldest water-bottling plants at Holy Well, while avid hikers can climb 425 metres to the summit of Worcestershire Beacon for sweeping hillside views.

Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Catch a glimpse of history at the ancient Tintern Abbey, or relax with a leisurely afternoon float along River Wye—all while visiting Wye Valley AONB. Wander along Wye Valley Walk or embark on the ambitious Wales Coast Path to see this AONB by foot. Then hop in a boat or canoe for a tour by water. Field camping is popular in Wye Valley, from rustic tent pitches to unique glamping sites with bell tent and tipi rentals.

When to go

Broadway is warmest from June to August with average temperatures around 21°C. It’s the most comfortable weather for hiking and boating opportunities. The shoulder seasons of spring and autumn see moderate temperatures and fewer crowds, along with lovely spring wildflowers and autumn leaves. Winters in the West Midlands are often chilly and may see rain or snow; however, the clear weather can offer lovely hiking views for those who don’t mind cooler weather.
