Our Yurt is set up in the trees giving you peaceful seclusion and a clear view across the sea to Wales and the mountains of the Brecon Beacons. The Yurt is big and sleeps up to four very comfortably. It has its own stove and outside is a washroom just for you with hot shower , toilet and sinks. Your own meadow allows you to just relax and be.
Up on the campfield you can bring your own tent or hire a Belle tent from us with all the fittings to camp contentedly. Our new Wash House has hot showers, flushing toilets and basins. You can light a fire and cook up a BBQ or maybe just watch the world go by.
A huge range of activities are possible or you can lie in the hammock with a good book. We have very friendly dogs and rescue chickens who may come and visit. Wild deer wander past in the early morning mist and the odd buzzard picks an argument with a bunch of crows but nothing much else should disturb you.
We moved here after an 18 month search 11 years ago. It was close to everything we wanted and we've spent some time getting a bit closer.

We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Perfect remote glamping tent, there’s a Tesco near with fuel and a shop.
The hosts are very kind and welcoming.
The kitchen has utensils incase you have forgotten any and has a sink.
We even did some wild blackberry picking!
My only feedback would be the toilets lock is a little dodgy and wouldn’t fully securely lock, and the toilet roll kept running out, luckily we brought some with 🤣

The bell tents here were beautifully set out and very spacious from other campers so it's very private! The sauna was gorgeous with a cold plunge shower and drinking water provided. To go back to the tent with fire wood, all in all made a relaxed and charming night. The hosts were lovely and will be definitely returning ta some point!

We had such a wonderful stay at the shepherd’s hut and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The setting was absolutely gorgeous, especially with the beautiful weather we were lucky enough to have — it made everything feel even more magical and relaxing.
Everything was explained so clearly on arrival, which made settling in really easy and stress-free. The hut itself was spotless, well thought out, and had everything we needed for a cosy and comfortable stay.
One of the highlights was definitely our meal at The Village Pub — it was honestly the best meal of the trip and made the whole experience feel even more special.
We had the best time and would absolutely love to come back again. Such a perfect little escape to the countryside!
