We are a small, friendly site on a working farm in the beautiful South Downs National Park. We have shepherds huts, bell tents and a land pod in an old sheep paddock, all with private fire pits. We’re surrounded by footpaths and bridleways that can be explored all day, and 10 minutes drive from the sea. We also have a small grass-pitch campsite that opens in the summer for tents and camper vans.

Our 17 acre Farm is set deep within the beautiful South Downs National Park on the outskirts of the quiet village of Milland (near Liphook) in rural West Sussex (close to its border with Hampshire and Surrey). We have direct access to an excellent bridleway and footpath network through peaceful open countryside and quiet lanes as well as being on the Serpent Tail and close to the South Downs Way.
Our Glamping Pod and Shepherd's Hut are available to book all year round. We also offer stabling if you would like to take your horses or ponies on holiday with you!
Milland village (0.8 miles) has the Rising Sun pub, serving great food and drink, and Milland Stores, which stocks all your essential fresh and local produce as well as having a small cafe.

Absolutely Fabulous place to stay. Laura the host was so welcoming, kind and knowledgeable.. We stayed in the LandPod, we loved it.
So peaceful, and secluded!!!
No hesitation in thoroughly recommending this Fantastic camp site. Oh, they also have Shepherds Huts and Bell Tents which looked amazing. So good we have been there the past two weekends and look forward to getting back real soon!!!

Fantastic relaxing pod in the south downs. Very clean, with all the amenities we could wish for. Walking up to the Devil's Dyke pub was a bit of a trek, but worth it for the sunset views. Highly recommended!

Lovely glamping pod in beautiful woodland surroundings. The pod has everything you need and is very comfortable to stay in. Matt is a great host who is there if you need anything but doesn't intrude on your peace and tranquility unless required. Lovely village nearby, the Rising Sun pub is approx 15 minute walk away serving great food etc if you want a night off cooking. My wife and I would definitely recommend this retreat. Thanks Matt for everything we hope stay again soon

Weekend Trip to Foot of the Downs
Me and my partner stayed at Skylark pod and it was very nice, lovely scenic getaway for our anniversary. The bed was comfy and the shower was very good. The only issue was there was quite a lot of dust cobwebs around so it wasn’t as clean as we expected. The sofa is also very uncomfortable. Would recommend though.

We had the most amazing overnight stay at the Shepherd’s Hut with our three young children and our dog. Laura gave us the warmest welcome - she was so friendly, helpful, and made us feel completely at home right away. The hut itself was spotless, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need.
The kids absolutely loved exploring the surroundings, and it was such a safe, peaceful space for them to run around and enjoy the fresh air. Our dog was just as happy - plenty of room for walks and a truly pet-friendly atmosphere.
Evening by the firepit under the stars was magical, and waking up to the sound of birds and stunning countryside views was the perfect escape from everyday life.
Laura went above and beyond to make our stay special. We honestly didn’t want to leave!

Laura is the best host and the Pod was perfect!! The bed was super comfy, pod was really clean and the showers and toilets 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful night or few away. The little spot is peaceful and secluded just what we wanted !! Two very happy campers 🙂

If you want peace and quiet with nature, thats the spot. The "pod" was better than 5* hotel in bath. No seriously. Looked after, has everything you need. Enough space (for 2), possible 4 i would say. Needed more forewood, Angela replied within few minutes. Amazing host. If things will turn different will be coming back. Absolutely loved it.

Thank you so much to Matt and his family for a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and we loved the little touch of the welcome gifts. We were so pleasantly surprised by the space around the cabin and the privacy we had. It was such a great space for children to run around in. It is so special that there is only one cabin as so many farms have numerous, we loved the private feel. Our only comment is that as a group of 4 adults and 1 child, we felt it was about as packed as we would like it. The bunk beds are very small for adults but we made it work.
Fabulous that there was an air fryer available. Could do with some more outdoor cooking equipment like tongs, grills and oven gloves. But we all had a great stay and would love to visit you again in the near future.

My family stayed at Hazelbank farm for a weekend. My children loved walking around the farm and exploring the wooded areas. They loved feeding the sheep and playing in the tree house. It's a lovley location very quiet and peaceful. Matt helped show us how to light the fire we really enjoyed having the fire in the evening.

Sarah, Tony and family thank you dearly for inviting us to your glamping site. A very well thought out and well utilised site to accommodate guests of all ages.
The site really is a great getaway for the family. There is something to do for guests of all ages. The outdoor activities kept us all entertained. And this was the very reason we opted to stay here.
Sarah and Tony, you both were very welcoming and accommodating, genuinely kind hearted and always happy to have a chat and give us insight into the 'who, what and where' around the site.
The pods were great. The colour coded articles placed around each pod, both internally and externally brought individuality to each pod. Aesthetically this looked great!
Internally, each pod, is well equipped for any stay. The kitchenette has everything you'd need to prepare for all meals.
The bathroom was well equipped for our stay and well maintained.
Overall, the pods internally and externally were of a great living standard, clean, well maintained and fully equipped.
The outdoor area was well preserved, the grass was well maintained, the equipment was all kept in tact. Everything was fully functioning, nothing was broken or on it's last leg.
Would highly recommend to all ages.

Scallows is a fantastic site run by very friendly people, Tim and his wife are lovely hosts. I would definitely recommend a visit!
The site is well kept, clean and tidy and is well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The pods are a great space, they're in close quarters but still felt private and feature a nice outdoor seating area too. The facilities are clean and modern, and the pods have their own dedicated bathrooms which is a nice touch.
There's lots of good local info to hand and it's located in a lovely rural spot, surrounded by green countryside and ancient woodland teaming with wildflowers. A thoroughly enjoyable place to stay, thank you!
