Weekend Trip to Southover Woods and Camping

Beautiful location! Would highly recommend! We were a little bit confused on how to get to the site, Chloe was brilliant and sent us through some directions and we found it easily from them. Nice private camping areas with their own firepit and composting toilet. Great for couples or groups of people as there are lots of different pitches offering different unique locations and views. Looking up and seeing the stars above a fire pit, priceless!

Weekend Trip to Llandyfan Camping

We stayed as a small family of three in the Cedar Cabin for my birthday and had a great time! The Cabin was cosy, tidy and in a great spot with views down the valley. Andrew helped us settle in and had some recommendations for places to visit. We had the fire pit one night and shamefully we struggled to keep a fire going, so Andrew popped over to help out. With the anglers pond nearby, it was great for bird watching. We will definitely be returning and thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Weekend Trip to Stockbridge View Campsite

Fantastic campsite, the host is really friendly and helpful, he gave us a warm welcome and was lovely with our dogs. The shower block is clean and well kept, and the washing up block is well maintained too. The site is tidy and clean, while not huge I felt we had plenty of space. We parked our small campervan on a hard standing site, and the rest of the site wasn’t particularly muddy. There were several other campers with dogs, everyone we encountered was friendly and clearly enjoying the wonderful quiet site! The site is a short walk or drive to Stockbridge, so if you need anything from the town it isn’t a hassle to get to. The town is worth a visit, so having a campsite in such close vicinity is a treat. I would highly recommend this site, I camp regularly throughout the year and this is one of the nicest sites I’ve visited.

Penuwch Inn Caravan and Camping, 10 minutes’ drive from Tregaron in West Wales, may very well be your spot. The area around Penuwch Inn has plenty of walking and cycling routes for anyone who wants to explore the region (ask your friendly hosts Nicky and Julian for tips). Pick up a map before you arrive, then disappear for the day on a mountain bike, making your way along the Ceredigion Coast Path or the banks of Afon Teifi – the second longest river in Wales – or Afon Aeron. If you prefer two legs to two wheels, you can pick up the Ceredigion Coast Path from Llanrhystud, a 15-minute drive from the site. For drinks, there's a bar on site open between Thursday and Sunday. For food, meanwhile, you can pick up some supplies for the barbecue at Tregaron. And then? Relax in the evenings by turning your eyes to the stars, soaking up the dark skies above the site to see some of the wonders of the Milky Way…

Take a trip on the famous Swanage steam train to historical Corfe Castle as we are only a 5 minute walk to Herston Halt station. Enjoy walks along the spectacular coastline and National Trust countryside and why not try out some bird watching, fishing, water sports or even sandcastle building. Further afield are Monkey World, the Tank Museum, Weymouth, Poole Harbour and the bright lights of Bournemouth. You can abandon the car for the entire holiday if you wish since the park is just over a mile from the bustling Seaside town centre of Swanage where many interesting events are held including the Swanage Carnival, Blues Festival, Folk Festival and Jazz Festival. It is even less distance to the sandy blue flag family beaches. On-site, there are great facilities for you to enjoy during your stay. If you want to unwind with just a coffee or sit back and relax in front of the log burning fire and sip your tipple of choice, knowing that your evening meal is being prepared by our experienced chefs then our bar is the place for you. There is a large selection of lager and real ales for you to enjoy as well as known spirits and wines for the discerning palette. Don’t forget the kids as we have an extensive children’s menu and a large selection of non-alcoholic drinks available and immediately behind the bar is our children’s play park, including swings and slides, you can watch you kids playing in comfort from our conservatory. We also have a show bar on site where most of our entertainment takes place during peak season. There is also a takeaway bar situated for you in the camping fields open at peak times for breakfast and evening meals. Also serving a wide variety of hot food from fish and chips to a full English, cold drinks, slush puppies and ice creams. If you do forget to bring anything then there is an on-site shop that carries most of the essentials that you may need. We do not charge for dogs. However, we do require that they are kept on a lead at all times whilst on the park, and that as a responsible owner, you clean up any mess they may create.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven. Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements. We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests! We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know. We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay. Litter: You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are bins around the campsite, please recycle where possible. Pitches to be left as you found them. Noise: Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning. No loud music is to be played at any time. Children: Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area. Dogs: Must not to be left unattended. Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. (We are working on an enclosed dog walking area, however this is not yet available). no refunds on bookings if cancelled withing 10days of booking
