This family-run camping field on our laid-back livestock farm is full of rustic charm. Pitch wherever feels right—tent or camper van. Dogs welcome but must always be kept on a lead and cleaned up after (dog waste bin on site, otherwise we are a leave no trace site and you should take your rubbish home with you).
This year, we’re introducing the “Missing Camper Trail” hidden in the woodland—can you find Colin? You’ll also find a new zip line and a slackline for adventurers big and small. Mud Café and den building are still here, along with teddy bears scattered through the woods—no official trail, just hidden friends to find.
Also new this season - a handcrafted washing-up area built by Farmer Ben from wood right off our farm.
Coming soon: We’re hoping for showers this season, but we’ll update when they’re up and running.
Wild camping here means no electricity—just two lovely compost loos and a covered cold-water tap. So bring your guitar, light a fire, and soak up the simplicity... The way camping was intended.

The Cider Site is a small family run camping site, which made it feel very intimate and homely. The views are great and you feel relaxed and part of nature. We stayed right at the end of the season (the last weekend of October), so it was quiet and the Cider Bar was closed.....but we'll be back another time to sample the home made Cider :). The facilities are good - warm shower, towel rail, toilet. This site is on the border of Hereford and Abergavenny, so perfectly placed to explore either, which we did! Great location! Great find! :)

Wow !! What an amazing place this is.. A real gem of a find.
Stayed for only one night in our campervan as we are getting used to our new VW camper and this is less than 1hr from Cardiff where we live. But we could stay here for days ...
The booking process was excellent (via Hipcamp) and the communication with the host (Laura) was excellent.
Upon arrival we were met by Laura and given free range to look around the grounds, Glamping and cider shop. So lovely, welcoming and friendly.
Such a lovely welcome. Loved the dogs also, especially scrumpy (great name for a cider farm dog)
Parked the camper up with stunning views and perfect facilities. Bottle of wine and a bbq under the stars. Perfect.
This place is truely wonderful and we'll definitely be back with friends, and recommend it to everyone.

Was worried as first time using hipcamps, but site lovely and quiet, clean ,plenty of room between campers .
There were two portable toilets although I have no idea what they were like as we bring our own ,but there is a disposal point, fresh water tap x2 and bins on site. Mel was very prompt in bringing round our hired fire pit and logs. We will definitely be returning here thank you .

Soo much space!! We had very pecefull and relaxing time with lots of space around us which was great for us and a dogs. Very chilled place, clean toilets, if you looking for peace and queit that is the place for you! Would definietely come back!

Where do we start.. 🤔.. we are here for 4 nights. .. If you want peace come here… if you want amazing views.. come here.. if you want to walk come here if you want to chill come here.. and of course if you want to try scrumptious cider definitely come here!! Note open Wednesday to Sunday but you can buy from Laura on the days they are closed if you ask. Laura is so helpful and welcoming.and has always been on hand if needed. A busy bee with her lovely family, cider farm and 2 holiday cottages but always has time for her customers. The site is for 4 van pitches and each offer a hard standing. (Stones)Little shade so you would need your own awning but we have had a good breeze also. Clean facilities and a washing up area on site, with water and a grey water combined chemical disposal point.
One pitch with a grass pitch for a caravan/motorhome and awning. Pubs and restaurants close by with walks from the site and a walk to buy ice cream 😃. Just book it and enjoy 😃👍 Highly recommended if you hadn’t noticed 😃

Such an amazing spot, peaceful and secluded with great walks nearby. The pitches are well thought out and maintained with nice facilities. Laura couldn’t have been more accommodating and welcoming, super responsive and helpful to ensure everything for our stay was perfect. The views from our pitch were just beautiful and it was so peaceful on the farm. The cider shop was also a great bonus! We are looking forward to returning again in future to do some more exploring of the nearby Brecon Beacons.
