7 nights at Farrs Meadow

We loved it. The meadow is beautiful and during our week in May we awoke to the sound of cookoos every morning - joy. We were in the smaller Yurt which was really warm and comfortable. David was really available and bought us wood for the fire when we needed. Classic camping and a wonderful escape from the city! Thanks David.

5 nights at Goren Farm

The amount of land and privacy for camping is really great. Showers were really good too, very generous to have two showers with hot water and good pressure for the amount of pitches.

2 nights at Red Sky at Night Campsite

We loved our time there. Beautiful view. Family friendly. Good communication. Very close to cider farm, castles and ice cream farm so a very good spot for us. Have to plan for no shower on site but that adds to the fun.

1 night at Sweet Hill Farm

Lovely welcoming campsite. Easy access to beautiful coastal walks. Horses were a wonderful added bonus. Loved the rural feel. Will defo be coming back.

4 nights at Pittaford Farm

We had a fabulous 4 night camping trip on this wonderful small site. Secluded private pitches are mowed into the meadow. Fantastic hot showers and clean flushing toilets. Amazing views cooking supper overlooking the valley and neighbouring sheep. Sally and Paul were incredibly accommodating, and even facilitated a change of pitch to a more sheltered area when bad winds were forecast. The football pitch was a real hit and our son made lots of new friends. Free wifi a bonus. Nearby we enjoyed crabbing in Dartmouth and kayaking at the beautiful Blackpool sands beach. The beach cafe there is not to be missed!

Really amazing location and views. Great if you like to have your own space and chill out. Good facilities available and Julian and everyone was very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend.

Stowford manor excelled my expectations, clean tidy well managed site, quirky showers in the barn, 50p for 8mins which was more then enough time, water lovely and hot, wild swimming was very invigorating, I would definitely recommend stowford manor if your looking for a nice peaceful stay, also they do amazing cream teas

Lovely spot, with not many people around and not many kids as this is pure camping, not many attractions here. Perfect for people which are enjoying camping and bonfires. Great showers and not bad toilets. That’s all you need. I’ll be back!

Absolutely wonderful visit. Only booked for one night but will definitely be booking again and for longer Outstandingly beautiful views with the river and greenery- not only were the employees so lovely and welcoming but everyone else staying was as well and I know it's because all felt relaxed, and connected. 100% recommend 100% will be back 100% will be getting the bbq again and next time will try the pizza Amazing!!

This was such a lovely campsite! Perfectly located so wherever you camp you can see the sea. Gorgeous and easy terrain walks to the lighthouse and into the town. As the campsite offers events on holidays and weekends it brings a lot of atmosphere and a vast array of people. The weekend I went was a single female camping weekend which looked like great fun! If you are a fan of horses and ponies then there are loads in paddocks around the camp. With the chance to have a group hack. I will be staying here again in the future!

Hook Farm Campsite was a total delight! My wife and I camped for an evening; it was peaceful, simple, beautiful and close to some lovely pubs, farm shops and walks. Could not have been better.

Absolutely beautiful! We had pizza on the first night and HAD to go back for more in the second night 😂 next time we will try out the cream tea :) toilets were clean and not too far away. Cannot fault! Will be back again!!

Weekend Trip to Radcot Leisure on Thames

Beautiful location. You are on a tiny little island, with boats on the river. The pub is beautiful. I didn't actually go there other than to check in but it was lovely. Lots of outdoor seating, there was a pizza oven too, which wasn't on but would be great if it had been.
