West Holme Glamping is a micro-site with pre-erected bell tents in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Just the job for romantic mini-breaks or holidays for small families, it's set in 20 acres, so there’s plenty of privacy and lots of space to roam around.
The bell tents here come equipped with a double bed, rugs, picnic tables, lanterns, a gazebo and a gas barbecue. The three showers and three toilets are shared between six tents.. You'll just need to bring your own bed linen and towels or add them to your booking.
You can explore the area by car – medieval castles, beaches, National Trust sites and the Jurassic Coast are all less than half an hour’s drive away. Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are 20 minutes' drive away. Pretty market towns like Dorchester (also 30 minutes) or seaside resorts like Swanage (20 minutes) are all worth a mosey, while historic Wareham has Saxon town walls and riverside churches to explore. The sandy beaches of Studland and Swanage are also within half an hour's drive of the site.
If you’re feeling energetic, the Isle of Purbeck has plenty of walks and bike rides on the rocky peninsula overlooking the English Channel, as well as parts of the South West Coast Path.
The local farm shop is a 2 minute walk and sells the very best of local Dorset produce if you fancy cooking on the barbecue. And if you don’t, there’s a cosy tea shop attached, and there are plenty of gastropubs serving real ales and great grub in less than a 15-minute drive too.

The facilities are well maintained, there is even a freezer for campers and a small coffeeshop. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, walked 1 hour to the seafront which was amazing for fossils.

I absolutely loved camping on Charlottes land, I came back for another night! From the gorgeous views to the insane stars at night! 😍
It took a little while to get used to the portable toilets but the rest of the facilities are great for the price. It’s £1 for 3 mins hot water shower and you’d be surprised how much you can get done in 3 mins! 😂 There’s charging ports too to charge your devices and you can choose what field you want to camp in. I recommend faraway field for the views 🫶🏻 I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Charlotte!

We only stayed for 2 nights sadly but it was a lovely campsite and would stay again, maybe from a Thursday or over the weekend when they do the cider tasting! It’s close to the beautiful walks and the coast and you stay in your own plot between the orchard trees so it felt quite private. You could also go to the barn for a cider or tour and a lovely communal space with benches, giant jenga and pretty garden with animal sculptures centred around a may pole. There was only one other tent there while we were there. They are nearly finished building a new toilet block but the showers and toilets were good and clean. There was WiFi at the barn and a few plug sockets. Recommend lunch or dinner at the anchor inn after the golden cap!

Lovely and quiet and I was able to have widespread uninterrupted views of the nearby horses and coastline with no one else near me. Facilities were clean and staff helpful. And the sun shone after a torrential night so perfect stay!

Such a gorgeous camp site will definitely return! There were lots of tents and campers around the site but still felt very calm and peaceful and plenty of space to pop up my tent :) The cafe was an added bonus and the drinks were lovely. The views from the site were amazing, only had to walk 30 seconds to the edge of the cliff and you had the most amazing view. When I arrived the staff gave lots of recommendations and help with the area. I took a walk to the pulpit inn which is about 20 minutes away and had a lovely dinner. Again I had an amazing experience and will definitely be back :) thank you!!

I had a great stay at Ninham Country Holidays. The site is beautiful and well maintained. The facilities are clean and well maintained too. The only thing I think would be good to have had were camper's fridges.
I found the staff friendly and helpful. Oliver went to extra mile for me helping me when I managed to run my car battery flat.

Really great experience overall! The people running the place are so friendly and welcoming. The setup is brilliant — you camp between rows of trees and basically get an entire row to yourself (and your mate), which gives you this lovely sense of privacy even when there are other people just next door. Genuinely loved it.
Oh and having a bar on site is a game changer. Being able to grab a proper cappuccino in the morning just takes the whole camping experience up a notch. Would definitely go back!
