We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months. Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. I have always loved Sweet Hill Farm. It’s a lovely relaxed campsite with sea views and amazing walks nearby. Also, being able to have a camp fire is fantastic. The showers are brilliant too. The only disappointment for me this year is that the compost loos have been replaced with horrible portaloos! Please bring back compost loos, they are so much nicer!

1 night at Sweet Hill Farm

This was my first time camping here and I will definitely return again. Whilst SatNav got me most of the way, the directions on Hipcamp made the last little bit of the journey much easier. I was welcomed warmly at the well-stocked little cafe, and given a map to show my how to get to the field I pitched in. The tracks on-site are full of large potholes - so definitely something to be mindful of, especially if you have extremely low-suspension on your car! However, take it slow and easy and all is well here. I had the most amazing view, from where I pitched up, over to Portland Bill lighthouse. Both sunset and sunrise were stunning. Facilities here are extremely basic - but it’s enough for those that simply need to get away from life for a while and sleep under the stars without all the creature comforts of home. Of course, there is a place for being able to have all the mod-cons available, but this is camping the way it should be done! I wasn’t here long enough to speak to any of the other campers, but everyone seemed relaxed and there was no loud music or anything played into the night, meaning I could drift to sleep easily enough at the end of the day. Thank you all.

Wow, Little Eden is exactly what it says it is. It has everything for a wonderful camping experience. You are totally emmersed in Nature. You can hear the wild life and birds around you. You can use a fire pit and sit outside under the stars, whilst keeping warm. The decor is beautiful, the facilities are great. Showers, toilets, washing machine, fridge and anything else you can think of. I would definitely recommend Little Eden to everyone. Thank you so much Andy, Emily 🙏

We loved our stay in The Bunker at Glan y Mor! The bunker itself was spacious enough for the two of us, warm, and the bed was very cosy. It was stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and the wood stove inside was a nice touch. Its location on the campsite also made it feel more private, which was great. The firepit outside the bunker and handy access to firewood really added to our stay. The campsite is nicely landscaped and set out, and maintains a natural woodland area. The amenities are well laid out, well maintained and high quality. The radio playing ClassicFM in the toilet block was a nice touch. There is a communal fridge and firepit, as well as other basics such as a kettle. The campsite was quiet - we had no issues with noise even though the site was busy throughout our stay. Cath and Adam were friendly and responsive, welcoming us to the campsite and recommending us nearby places to visit. The campsite is within easy walking distance within the centre of Pembroke Dock, and is also centrally located to a range of points of interest in the region, making it a great base during your stay.

This was my first time ever camping and I had a great time at this site, it's the perfect mix of rural, real camping with local amenities near enough especially for someone doing camping for the first time. Located right near the coast, it's a beautiful view, excellent facilities including showers and cafe. The only downside is that when I did arrive in the evening there was no one to greet us, even though the cafe should've been open at that time but other than that no complaints, wonderful hosts and would definitely go again.

We had such a wonderful two-night stay at Elm Farm with two friends and our two dogs. The location was absolutely perfect, just a short drive to lots of beautiful beaches, with Porthtowan being a real highlight for us as it brought back childhood memories of visiting. The facilities at Elm Farm were excellent and made our stay really comfortable. The hosts were so welcoming and attentive, and they went out of their way to give us loads of great recommendations for places to explore nearby. One of the best surprises was discovering their café on the bike hire side, the food was absolutely amazing and not to be missed! We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our trip. We’d definitely recommend Elm Farm to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a fantastic location, and we’ll certainly be returning.

Lovely simple easy laid back place. Great to go paddle boarding, although there's a bit of algae at the moment. Didn't spoil the fun, though. Andy is a lovely friendly chap and very responsive and helpful. Will consider revisiting next year. The Bird at Westhay also highly recommended.
