Lovely site, great amenities that were also eco friendly, river is right there for a swim or kayak and the morning views were beautiful. We were the only campers so it was super quiet but Jonathan was close by if we had any issues. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

Amazing quiet spot (except for some noisy sheep!), plenty of space per pitch & lovely sea views. excellent shower and toilet facilities a very short walk away. Picnic bench and fire pit and wood provided. The tent itself was amazing - looked brand new, on a raised deck which kept it dry and clean & chairs to sit and watch the sun rise with a cuppa, comfy warm beds, rugs, blankets, hot water bottles all provided. Cute little “kitchen” hut with a gas hob and kettle and pans and crockery and cool box - everything we needed for a short break was thought of and provided. Great communication with the hosts beforehand as well. Would highly recommend and love to return if we’re in the area again.

Had a really great time camping at Camp Couture. The facilities were fantastic, lots of space and beautiful setting. Nick was a brilliant host, help us move our stuff to our pitch and was friendly throughout. Would 100% recommend!

Look no further – just book it! The site was spotless and really well-kept, with a lovely play area that kept the kids happy. It’s perfectly located, close to amazing spots like the rocky valleys and Tarr Steps, with stunning surroundings all around. Alex was absolutely amazing – so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. If you’re looking for a place around North Devon, this is definitely it. We can’t wait to come back!

Richard is such a nice guy and goes out of his way to help, including helping us with our electric hook up. The site has really lovely views and was very peaceful. We had a really great, relaxed visit. Close to dog beaches and bouldering at Helman’s Tor. We also really enjoyed the eggs! Definitely recommend if you want peace and quiet with a view

My pitch had a fabulous view of the River Tamar. The site was super quiet and all features for basic camping as described, i.e. shower and composting loo. Handy to be on the Tamara Coast to Coast Path as well.

What a lovely site down amongst the trees. We particularly enjoyed the space, quiet, fire pit and being able to let our dogs roam free. The kitchen setup is great and the shower was so easy to use. Lovely clean site perfect for our family get away. Do book Sunday lunch at the castle inn pub and walk the 20-30 mins across the fields it was a great lunch.

We had a wonderful stay in Jonathan's land. He is very welcoming and helpful.
From the camp, we had beautiful views of the river and felt truly immersed in nature, surrounded by the silence.
A compost toilet and a cute and spacious shower in a horse box were all the services we needed to make our stay comfortable.
We would love to go back one day!

Went here for our first time camping and it was perfect! We didn’t spend much time at the campsite but the facilities were great (set the bar high for future campsites!) and it’s located so well for seeing nearly all of Cornwall. It’s a small campsite but we got a nice quiet spot at the end next to the tipis which weren’t being used. Would definitely go back ☺️

Loved everything about the glamping at Lundy! Kitchen better equipped than most glamping experiences I've had- cooking oil, oatly milk, cafatiere, bbq and spare phone charger! My sons also did a 2 hour surf lesson and had an amazing experience on the waves! Loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Recommend

We had a fantastic weekend celebrating birthdays in a beautiful location! Alex was a lovely host who gave us some great recommendations in the local area!
All facilities are really well kept and modern + there are shops very close by for food/ drinks. I’d really recommend stopping by Marwood Milk for fresh milk in your morning coffee!
We’d definitely recommend to a friend/ will hopefully return in the coming years!

While the compact streets are packed with everything from bookshops, art galleries and boutiques to hip cafés and cosy Cornish pubs, it also makes a wonderful urban centre-point for any camping holiday. There are heaps of Truro campsites in the immediate surroundings and, from family escapes to camping for couples, the local countryside is a serious camping hot spot.
