Our tipis and tent pitches are dotted about this secret 20 acres full of ferns, bluebells, oak and meadowsweet. Left in peace for many years there's been no modern chemicals or poisons on the land, meaning we've got bluebells, dormice, Red Admirals and shy woodland Jays for you to spot. It’s a place set apart from the rush and clutter of the modern holiday experience, with an atmosphere that makes you forget the world outside, and just lounge, ramble, or potter about in a boat. We're committed to giving you a genuinely individual service from first contact to your time staying with us. We established CTH in 1996. This was the first and we believe still is the best tipi holiday site in the UK. We know our area inside out and can always help with local knowledge or contacts if you need them. We want to offer our guests a sustainable holiday. A return to real camping means the lowest possible impact on the land and environment - our tipi poles don’t even break the surface of the earth. Your footprint while here could only be bettered by a survival expert. You don't have to fly! a major bonus, and we source all our wood, fish and canvas locally and work with local people wherever possible.

A small family run campsite located on the famous ice cream farm, Roskilly’s. On the Lizard in South West Cornwall, the farm is remote and tucked away with a Cornish feel, yet there is plenty to do. The farm has a vast array of animals that you can feed, a large woodland and ponds walk where the cows may be grazing. There are also many stunning beaches and Cornish fishing villages a small walk or drive away. We have a restaurant offering lovely food all day from breakfast to dinner. During the summer season there is also live music performed by local bands on selected evenings. Our campsite offers large grass pitches for tents and camper vans as well as a pristine toilet and shower block and communal area.

Peaceful Cornish Site, situated a few minutes drive from the A30 at Redruth, with far reaching countryside views. An ideal central base from which to explore Cornwall's mining heritage, beautiful coastline and quaint fishing villages. Dogs are very welcome. Feel at ease on every pitch at Sunset Camping, a quiet and very welcoming family-friendly campsite in central Cornwall. This west-facing spot is well positioned to soak up all-day sunshine and has some truly lovely views over the surrounding area. Here you can watch the sun setting over the sea, take an evening stroll along the coast at Portreath's dog-friendly beach (10 minutes' drive), or relax with your pet (if you've brought one) over an end-of-day barbecue or campfire back at base. As for your days, you won't be short of options to fill them here: this centrally located site is within an hour's drive of most of the Cornish mainland, with top highlights like the Lizard Peninsula, Falmouth, Newquay, St Ives and Padstow all easy to reach. Sunset Camping is in a particularly prime location for walkers and cyclists, close as it is to the protected coastal areas around Godrevy and St Agnes (both 10 minutes), the Coast To Coast Trail and the Great Flat Lode Trail (10 minutes), steeped in attractive country views and Cornish mining history. Redruth (five minutes) is conveniently close to hand too, with pubs, cafés, supermarkets, a cinema and a railway station where you can set off on car-free day trips. Even closer to home are a dog-friendly pub, a discount supermarket and a play park (at North Country) – all of these are within a handy 10-minute stroll. A Spacious, peaceful site with great facilities just 5 miles to the beach. Far from the crowd but close to everywhere, being just 1/2 a mile to the village shops, bakery and restaurants and only 1.5 to the town. A small number of pitches over 3 meadows where you choose where you want to pitch when you arrive, being assured of a great space for your stay, bring whatever size tent or your campervan and enjoy the great facilities include flushing toilets, hot showers and a wash up area with hot water, together with a communal fridge, microwave and phone charging sockets. There's drinking water in every meadow. So, relax and listen to the birds and enjoy the surrounding nature and magnificent views across the Cornish countryside whilst you sit by the fire. A great location to explore from being fairly central. We're close to the Tresavean Trail which links to the network of trails throughout Cornwall, so bring your walking shoes or cycle. Horse riding is just a 5 minute drive and if you fancy a spot of windsurfing/ canoeing, then Stithians lake is just 2 miles away. For the surfers amongst you there are several great beaches within a short distance and there's a handy wetsuit wash area when you get back. Dogs are welcome - all we ask is that you clean up and use the waste bin on site. This quiet site is perfect for children 8 years and over with plenty of space for a ball game or two. Fire pits and bbq's are allowed as long as they're raised off the ground - we have blocks for you to use. If you are staying 6 nights of more then you can use one of our firepits on a 1st come, 1st served basis - free of charge.

Polgwedhen is the only lodge in these magnificent lightly wooded gardens, on the edge of an ornamental lake, home to wild ducks, moorhens, little grebes, dragonflies and damsel flies and a variety of pondlife. If you're quiet you may catch sight of deer, foxes and badgers wandering through at dusk as well as bats and owls. The bird watcher will not be disappointed; songbirds, woodpeckers, buzzards, swallows and herons are regularly sighted. From Polgwedhen it's possible to walk or cycle and join up with the Bissoe Trail which runs from Devoran to Portreath, and there are many other surrounding tracks. Both the north and south coasts are a short drive away, as well as many National Trust properties, the Eden Project, and the Great Gardens of Cornwall. Although Polgwedhen is surrounded by farmland it's a short drive to Threemilestone which features two convenience stores, a chinese takeaway and fish and chip shop. A couple of miles further on is our city of Truro. Whatever, your interests are there's something for you to do here at Polgwedhen.

Electricity, wood burner, comfortable beds and seating. Older children can be accommodated either on the single beds in the main dome or in an additional bell tent located just the other side of the deck (please let us know where you would like the beds when booking) Each dome has an ensuite kitchen/bathroom pod with hot shower, flushing toilet, fridge, kettle and induction hob. Its own private deck with BBQ, outdoor seating and a large grassy area for games! Fully equipped with everything you will need. all we ask is that you bring your own beach towels, toiletries and torches (as we try to keep external lighting to a minimum). Rural views and plenty of wildlife but only a few minutes walk to the village shop, 5 mins drive to the beautiful beach at Porthtowan, half an hour to the south coast and direct access to many of the coastal paths by foot. A perfect base for exploring Cornwall.
