We have friendly residents of Alpaca, sheep, a goat and peacocks and chickens that you are welcome to feed with the supplied food.
We have a local pub you can walk to across farmers fields about a 20 minute ramble. South Molton, a 3 minute drive away, has a small artisan market voted the best in the UK

Emmetts on Exmoor is part of the highest farm on the moor, up at an altitude of 1250 feet with gorgeous views out over the surrounding scenery of the national park. You won't find a better place for spotting wildlife right from your tent! Red deer herds regularly frequent the moor which is opposite your pitch. Other wildlife in the area include cuckoos, woodpeckers, golden plovers, foxes and much more!
This is a place that’s big on space but small on guest numbers (just four pitches which are not visible from one another), so there’s always plenty of space around to soak up the rural atmosphere, spot wildlife and play games. The site is unmanned so make sure you have all the info you need before setting off and it’s worth noting that Exmoor National Park was designated Europe’s first Dark Sky Reserve back in 2011, so you should hopefully be in for spectacular displays of stars by night too.
Unsurprisingly, this is a great area for walks and mountain bike rides; other activities in the area include things like fishing, sailing and pony trekking. If you’ve still got any energy left after that little lot, the farm’s all-weather tennis court is available to hire for a game or two.
There is a proper shower and loo available next to the car parking area and all pitches are approximately a 500 metre walk away from this area through woodland and across pasture. Remember the site is off-grid
so it’s a good idea to remember to bring along a torch. Guests are welcome to bring along a barbecue or hire a firepit and purchase wood onsite. Simonsbath (5 minutes) has a pub and a tearoom and Exford and Withypool (both within 15 minutes) have good village shops for picking up any other supplies you might need. The Poltimore Arms and The Exmoor Forest Inn are two very local pubs that are well worth a visit.

South Town Camping opened for a month in 2018 to see how guests would take to its private 10-pitch site. Tucked away in North Devon's Arlington estate, amid twenty-plus miles of footpaths and bridleways, this is a campsite designed by committed campers and it shows.The grass pitches are spacious, with paths leading to them mown into the wildflower meadows, all set within six acres kept peaceful (and safe for the kids!) by the absence of cars — simply roll your belongings to your tent with the help of a super-sized wheelbarrow. At the centre of the camping fields hay meadows are left to grow throughout the summer, providing an almost-wild aesthetic befitting of the sprawling surrounding woodland of which you'll enjoy uninterrupted views. If you don't fancy pitching a tent a shepherd's hut is also available, a cosy option for couples with outdoor seating for those nights cooking by the fire.Given that this is a campsite belonging to the environmentally-conscious South Town Farm, your time staying at the site will be as eco-friendly as possible. Your hosts take care of 200 acres of this estate, having National Trust tenancy of South Town and managing its grasslands, which remain unimproved to maintain the unique biodiversity of the region. In keeping with this ethos, your available amenities also won't impact the land — there are composting loos, a gas-powered warm shower and cold drinking water pumped directly from the mains to the sheltered washing-up hut.Despite South Town Camping's position out in the sticks, it's within excellent reach of its neighbouring beaches, all a short drive away. Woolacombe beach will likely be the first port of call for sun-chasers, given its reputation as not only one of the best beaches in the West Country, but one of the best in the world — two miles of sloping sand facing the Atlantic Ocean, and a favourite for families and surfers with thousands descending upon it each year. brilliant place to stay, very relaxed there but if you need anything they was there. me and my partner stayed here with our 2 daughters and our dog and it was 100% one of the best places we have been to, great veiws, great facilities. all in all will 100% be staying again and maybe try the other cabins.

Weekend Trip to Belle Camping Cornwall
The bell tent was wonderful and the whole site is well designed and kitted out. The views of the Lizard from the campsite are beautiful and there is easy access to both the coast path and the nearby villages. Michelle and the site guys were friendly and helpful. Belle camping exceeded our expectations. And the Friday night pizza was amazing!

The site was exactly as described! Really quiet and calming.
Our only note would be to make sure if your van is bigger than a short wheel base is make sure you are a relatively confident driver as the roads to get to the site are narrow single track and quite tight.
But overall we would be happy to stay again.

We’ve had a lovely 3 nights at the gorgeous yurt. Weather was fab, yurt was amazing and super comfy! We loved stargazing around the fire in the evenings and took the dogs for some lush walks.

Amazing quiet spot (except for some noisy sheep!), plenty of space per pitch & lovely sea views. excellent shower and toilet facilities a very short walk away. Picnic bench and fire pit and wood provided. The tent itself was amazing - looked brand new, on a raised deck which kept it dry and clean & chairs to sit and watch the sun rise with a cuppa, comfy warm beds, rugs, blankets, hot water bottles all provided. Cute little “kitchen” hut with a gas hob and kettle and pans and crockery and cool box - everything we needed for a short break was thought of and provided. Great communication with the hosts beforehand as well. Would highly recommend and love to return if we’re in the area again.

Had a really nice time at Rocombe Valley Retreat, Elliot was very welcoming on arrival, the bell tent was great and comfortable. The site was quiet and clean and they had a lot of essentials there ready to use in the shared kitchen, including a fridge/freezer to store food in. Wood fired hot tub was a nice treat to top it off.

We had the most wonderful stay glamping in the beautiful bell tent! From the moment we arrived, Michelle gave us a fantastic welcome – she was incredibly accommodating and full of helpful local knowledge about the area.
The tent itself was perfect – warm, spotlessly clean, and really well set up. It felt like a cosy home-away-from-home, and we settled in straight away. The surrounding area was absolutely stunning, with the tent fields overlooking the breathtaking Cornish coast – waking up to that view was truly special.
Our dogs loved it too! They settled in quickly and had such a lovely time exploring. The location is ideal – just a short distance from Cadgwith Cove, the Lizard Peninsula, and the iconic Kynance Cove.
One of the great added touches was the on-site catering van, which served up delicious breakfasts and evening meals – super convenient and tasty!
We can’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Thank you so much for having us, Michelle – we’ll definitely be back!

We loved camping with Shelley, amazing place to camp.
It’s a true wilderness and it’s is wild camping, although there is a nice shower at the farm.
The directions to the campsite are hard to follow, ideally they would drop pins on where the campsites actually are. We have no idea if we camped at the right spot but weren’t disturbed and had a great couple of days

Michelle's beautiful bell tent is well named. She was the perfect host, provided in the tent everything you could want.. lights, games a barbecue too! we'd forgotten our coffee pot.. but not to worry, she provided everything a camp chef would need! The tent came with a toolbox too and she refreshed the ice boxes for us daily too. Lovely beds and setting was perfect..wr watched tje moonrise over the sea just across the field with her tip off, stunning.
Great tips on where to swim etc.. the flushing toilet is a treat too! Car can be parked next to tent for extra convenience.
Good vibes and comfort too!

Charming family campsite with great views. Simple but very well maintained. Great location near beautiful beaches, coves, and wooded combes. Having a 24/7 supply of fresh organic veg and the finest pasties in Cornwall just across the road doesn't hurt either. Highly recommended.

If you love Nature and Humans, this your place. You get a private camping spot, wood for Fire, beautiful sunsets, I even got a delicious warm shower and offered beatroot and salad.

We stayed as a family of 5 for 4 nights! was a truly beautiful location and run by a lovely family. we were able to hire the camp fire with wood. and my girls really enjoy seeing the sheep on the farm. The amenities are excellent also for camping. nicest I've come across. The sunsets are beautiful and the clear night sky is great for star gazing. I also recommend driving to Totnes which was about 20/30ish min drive. and obviously Torquay isn't far. Otherwise enjoy some lovely walks around the camp site which are also mapped out by the outdoor type kitchen area! And they have a fridge/freezer you can use! We absolutely miss this place already and will definitely return! Thank you so much. x

We booked a weekend stay with our daughter and it was lovely, very peaceful and calm. She loved feeding the pigs! The hot tub stays hot for a long time once you’ve got it going so worth firing it up nice abs early. The site owners were always around and really helpful too.
