A Spacious, peaceful site with great facilities just 5 miles to the beach. Far from the crowd but close to everywhere, being just 1/2 a mile to the village shops, bakery and restaurants and only 1.5 to the town. A small number of pitches over 3 meadows where you choose where you want to pitch when you arrive, being assured of a great space for your stay, bring whatever size tent or your campervan and enjoy the great facilities include flushing toilets, hot showers and a wash up area with hot water, together with a communal fridge, microwave and phone charging sockets. There's drinking water in every meadow. So, relax and listen to the birds and enjoy the surrounding nature and magnificent views across the Cornish countryside whilst you sit by the fire. A great location to explore from being fairly central. We're close to the Tresavean Trail which links to the network of trails throughout Cornwall, so bring your walking shoes or cycle. Horse riding is just a 5 minute drive and if you fancy a spot of windsurfing/ canoeing, then Stithians lake is just 2 miles away. For the surfers amongst you there are several great beaches within a short distance and there's a handy wetsuit wash area when you get back. Dogs are welcome - all we ask is that you clean up and use the waste bin on site. This quiet site is perfect for children 8 years and over with plenty of space for a ball game or two. Fire pits and bbq's are allowed as long as they're raised off the ground - we have blocks for you to use.

Our Yurt is set up in the trees giving you peaceful seclusion and a clear view across the sea to Wales and the mountains of the Brecon Beacons. A huge range of activities are possible or you can lie in the hammock with a good book. We have very friendly dogs and rescue chickens who may come and visit. Wild deer wander past in the early morning mist and the odd buzzard picks an argument with a bunch of crows but nothing much else should disturb you. We moved here after an 18 month search 8 years ago. It was close to everything we wanted and we've spent some time getting a bit closer.

This is not a big campsite with lots of other people, you can book the whole campsite for a private group, or otherwise, only 2 or 3 families very spread out at a time. The pitches are set out with plenty of space in between. There is parking for cars or campervans, and the camping area itself is not accessible for vehicles, making it a lovely car free space with nothing but nature all around you. You will need to carry tents and equipment up to the camping area., only around 100m from the parking area. (We have a wheel barrow for you to use)We also have a small hard standing area for campervan. There is a compost loo, a washing up area, and an off grid shower shack. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings, teaming with wild life and filled with wild orchids and many different species of grasses and wildflowers. It is unique and a treat for people who love natural habitat. The sea is about two miles away where there are spectacular cliff walks for many miles on the Pembrokeshire coast path, and beautiful beaches for swimming. Bring logs and kindling with you. (Can be bought from any garage) If you bring a cool box we can top you up with frozen ice packs. Just ask. NO LOUD PARTIES Guest access Acres of land and woodland, kitchen shack, compost loo, shower hut, pond. Other things to note 40 acres of meadows, wildlife habitat and woods which guests are welcome to roam. You can walk down the track and visit the artists gallery and shop in the big blue barn. Lovely rural sight with lots of choice of pitches. Although you have to choose before you go so you may not realize how close to the toilets you'll be or whether you are in an exposed spot. We got a strong wind up the top, but it was October. There are great views from the top field. The toilets and shower facilities are very good and spotless. There is a beautiful ( but not easy) walk down through the woods to the sandy burroughs and beach, which was difficult for us with some physical disabilities. You could not get a wheel chair down there. Great place for people who love walking, nature and rare plants. Great for families.

A wonderful spot to camp! Tessa was very welcoming and helpful! We had a wonderful view of the sea and the facilities were good. (Hot showers!!) Fowey is super cute and only 5 mins away. Great spot to get to other places in Cornwall too. Would definitely go back :)

Lovely, well appointed camp! Great facilities and hidden gems to discover once you are there! Pizzas are delicious and a truly magical spot looking towards the Priselli hills. Spa was delightful, pigs are friendly and the hay bale barn was a big hit with the kids! Highly recommend.

Amazing quiet spot (except for some noisy sheep!), plenty of space per pitch & lovely sea views. excellent shower and toilet facilities a very short walk away. Picnic bench and fire pit and wood provided. The tent itself was amazing - looked brand new, on a raised deck which kept it dry and clean & chairs to sit and watch the sun rise with a cuppa, comfy warm beds, rugs, blankets, hot water bottles all provided. Cute little “kitchen” hut with a gas hob and kettle and pans and crockery and cool box - everything we needed for a short break was thought of and provided. Great communication with the hosts beforehand as well. Would highly recommend and love to return if we’re in the area again.

Relatively close for a camping site to lots of local amenities and all of the wonderful opportunities that Croyde, Saunton and Wollacombe offer for jut getting out there and calling. The campsite is well maintained and good value. Steve is so knowledgeable and informative and will guide you through what to do and see.

Where to go

Crackington Haven

Crackington Haven is the scenic culminating point of the South West Coast Path, a popular hike that offers glimpses of sea views from its grassy cliffs. Crackington Haven is also part of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) that’s revered for its nature-inspired beauty. Visit medieval castles, surfing beaches, and the Crackington Formation. Bude Canal

Canoe or kayak Bude Canal to enjoy views of pastoral Cornwall. Built in 1823, the canal begins at the sea and stretches for roughly 35 miles between its two locks.
