We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months. Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Historic Bradford-on-Avon is only a 5 minute drive and the City of Bath 15 minutes. For those who enjoy more rural pleasures, 200 metres from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee.

Membership is not required to stay. Mel has called Cornwall home for over 20 years and is always happy to share her local knowledge with guests, while Tom, a seasoned surfer, can offer advice on the best surf spots based on the weather and swell conditions. Friendly and approachable, we’re here to ensure your stay is enjoyable and memorable, surrounded by great company and a welcoming atmosphere. Tregonetha Lake is a small, peaceful, off grid site surrounded by wild and natural, Cornish countryside and open farmland, including a beautiful 2 acre coarse fishing Lake. Fishing is an extra cost of £10 per adult day ticket, £7.50 per child day ticket. Just 9 miles from Mawgan Porth, 10 miles from Padstow, 11 miles from Newquay and 15 miles from Mevagissey it’s the perfect place to get away from it all, while still being within easy reach of some of the most popular holiday destinations on both the north and south coasts of Cornwall. Our Lake View Camping Field offers peaceful pitches for tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans, all overlooking our beautiful two-acre lake. For a more immersive nature experience, we also have five secluded woodland camping pitches, tucked among the trees and just a short walk from the lake. All camping pitches operate on a choose-where-you-want-to-pitch basis. Glamping in bell tents is also available. Tregonetha Lake is a small campsite with a big impact — wild, natural and peaceful. This was a beautiful little spot. A shower and toilet on site which were very clean and well looked after. We got ourselves in to a bit of a sticky spot with our camper and the owner came to our rescue, was super kind and helped sort it.

We absolutely love this site. Richard the host is friendly and welcoming, you can tell he’s proud of his site. The eco toilets are great and very well maintained. 👍🏻 Water on tap and a hot shower as well. These are exactly what you need for offgrid camping. You’re surrounded by nature. Falling asleep to the owls waking up to the cuckoo. Perfect. 😍 We even had the pleasure of the cow choir in the next field mooing away. Was great. ☺️ There is also a course fishing lake which you can use for a very reasonable daily fee. Hubby hasn’t fished yet but we had a wander and it is stunning very clean and well maintained lake. Would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a lovely stay at Sweet Hill. The directions to get to the campsite were easy to follow and the views when we arrived were fab! There was plenty of space and even on a windy night a good amount of protection so we didn’t get blown away. We will definitely be returning!

Great secluded and scenic spot with great connections into Dartmoor. We stayed here as part of the Devon coast to coast trail as a stop off point. The supplied fire wood was one less thing to worry about and had wild camping vibes but with a fire.
